Mila sat at in the lounge, she looked up seeing Jughead rushing in. "You okay?" She asked with a quirked eyebrow.
"No, yes, i don't know. Listen, so when in interviewed Toni's grandfather, he had some pretty intense things to say about Pickens, look." he said handing her a presentation folder. She quirked and eyebrow, opening it.
"Is it about the massacre?" She asked, He nodded with furrowed brows.
"You knew?'
"A few do, but no one really knew what to do about it." Mila sighed, "But continue."
"Okay, well i did some follow up, He was hired by Barnabas B. Blossom to remove the Uktena tribe, by force. Mila, he killed 400 innocent people." Jughead explained. Mila shook her head sadly.
"So what are you gonna do?" She asked.
"I want the story published, i want everyone to know. The last remnant of the tribe, The serpents are basically being erased. Toni's grandfather lives in a trailer the size of a closet. And Hiram is honoring this murderer instead of trying to fix things and make amends. This is a story that needs to be told."
"Jug, this is Toni's gradfather's story, it's our history but it's his. You need to do this the right way, ask first and then act." Mila explained, "And then you take it to Betty or whoever."
"Okay, okay yeah." Jughead nodded.

"Mila." Someone called out, the brunette turned around to see Toni walking towards her.
"Hey, what's up?"
"What's up? Hm, how about the fact that your boyfriend, ex boyfriend published my grandfathers story in the paper?" Toni huffed.
"What? I told him not to unless he said it was okay." Mila stated, looking at the paper. She quickly read the article and then looked up to Toni, "I'm gonna kill him."
"Me and you both." Toni muttered, the two girls walking down the halls to find Jughead, they kept looking in all the classrooms until they saw Jughead walking towards the lounge. "Jughead Jones!"Jughead looked towards the two rushing towards him. Jughead looked at the two girls confused. The girls grabbed his arms, leading him into a classroom.
"What?" He asked confused. Toni cleared her throat, pulling out the newspaper.
"General Pickens was a murder... and ripples from his gruesome acts continue to be felt today. Descendants of the victims are still being displaced. So i challenge the Northside, instead of honoring men like General Pickens and Hiram Lodge, hold them accountable. Reparations must be paid to men like Thomas Topaz, who are too old and beaten down to fight back themselves." Toni seethed, reading off the newspaper. Jughead looked between the girls with a frown.
"This town it messed up, and it needs to own up to it's history." Jughead defended.
"My grandfather isn't some broken-down victim, okay? Or some prop for your insane vendetta against the Northside. "
"N-no of course not."
"Look i get it, you hate the Northside. You hate that instead of inviting you to the party, they asked you to work it. It triggers all your rage about being born on the wrong side of the tracks." Toni stated.
"Jug, we all were. But i told you, this is his story to tell, not yours." Mila said softly. Toni walked out of the room and Jughead and Mila were left by themselves. "Why don't you ever listen to me, Mi Amour."
Jughead frowned, she wrapped her arms around his neck hugging him. He slowly wrapped his arms around her waist, resting his head on her chest, wishing they could still be together."You're gonna have to apologize."

Toni, Jughead and Mila were all in the Topaz trailer. "Mila, how lovely it is to see you again." Thomas smiled at the teen.
"Hello Mr. Topaz." She smiled, leaning down to give him a quick hug, Jughead cleared his throat and then two girls looked to him, Toni motioning to the couch for Jughead to sit. Thomas looked forward, not making eye contact with the boy.
"Mr. Topaz, i am so sorry. I was angry because the Southside is our home. I'm sick of watching it get dismantled." Jughead stated, Toni looked to Mila with displeased look.
'Wait.' Mila mouthed.
"Piece by piece in front of our eyes. They take out drive-in. They take our school."
"I thought you were apologizing." Toni said, standing straight up. Mila flicked Toni's arm, pulling her back.
"I-i am. I shouldn't have shared your story or what happened to the Uktena against the Northside. I had no right..." Jughead stated, he stayed quiet and then sighed. "I had no right. I'm sorry."
"Whatever your reasons were, you opened an old wound." Thomas said, looking to Jughead. "Now, something has to be done to heal it." Jughead looked at Thomas Topaz expectantly.
Mila and Toni looked to each other, Toni uncrossing her arms and placing them on her hips,"Do you have something in mind, grandpa?" Thomas gave a small nod and all the teenage serpents looked to each other and then back to Thomas.
