Mila was reading about the Phantom Killer. She was bent over her laptop, humming to herself as she read. "So you know how Moose and Midge were shot at lovers lane?" Mila asked, turning to Jughead.

"Yeah."

"The Phantom Killer, most of his victims were killed at a place called Lovers lane, it could be a copycat." She stated, still reading, "He also wears a mask, A cut out at the eyes, but the mask was white."

"What's up, Lovebirds." Toni asked, walking into the room.

"Reading." Mila answered, still engrossed in the article.

"About?" Jughead flashed his book up, showing the girl the cover of his book. "Ah, beware of the zodiac, It's decent though i prefer Robert Graysmith's definitive books on the matter." She stated, then turning to Mila, "What about you, M?'"

"The Phantom Killer." She said, raising her eyebrows.

"You know, if serial killers are your move, i suggest Ted Bundy, Albert Fish, Aileen Wuornos." Toni shrugged.

"They don't fit the profile." Mila stated, "We're looking for a narcissist. More like the riddler than the joker."

"And the profiler comes out." Jughead laughed.

"I'm a true crime junkie." Toni shrugged with a laugh.

"True crime is my crack."

"As it is for everyone." Mila laughed, "What's up. Toni?"  Toni sighed, pulling out a cipher from her bag and placing it in front of Mila. "The hell is this? A cipher?"

"Yep, The Register took a break from bashing the Southside to run the cipher. They have the whole town trying to crack it." Mila picked it up and looked over it. "Wanna help me crack it?"

"Is that even a question?" Mila laughed.

At Seven thirty in the morning, Mila James and Jughead Jones were fast asleep in the jones' boy trailer. There was a loud bang on the trailer door. "You go get it." Mila grumbled. Jughead sighed and threw the covers off of him. Mila started to fall back into her sleep when the room door opened.

"It's Betty, come on, get up." Jughead sighed, pulling at her arm.

"What time is it even?" She groaned, sitting up.
