Mila stood in front of a headstone, a blank expression. Archie, Veronica and Betty looked at her sadly, as Mila moved forward, crying as she touched the headstone.
'You promised you'd never leave me... This isn't over, you have to come back. Please... come back.'-------
Jughead's eyes opened as he groaned, trying to sit up, "Mila? Dad?" Fp gasped, sitting up. Fp stood sighing in relief.
"Jug."
"What did i miss?"
"What you did brought every Serpent I've ever know out of the woodwork and you would've bee n proud of 'em, boy." Fp explained. "It looked like we were gonna win the day, but in the end, there was just... just too many Ghoulies. It was like shooting snakes in a barrel."
"Why?" Jughead frowned, "Why did you go?'
"I wanted to avenge you, we all did."
"I had an agreement with Hiram Lodge." Jughead sighed.
"There was no stopping the others. They were churned up about you and Fangs, Mila was in a rage, everyone was in a rage. Even though Fangs is... He's alive."
"Fangs is alive?" Jughead gasped. Fp nodded and Jughead furrowed his brows, "But i thought... A deputy called out and told you he was dead."
"Yeah, that was a lie."
"A ploy, you mean." Jughead corrected. "To goad the Serpents into a fight they couldn't win. All of riot nigh was Hiram Lodge orchestrated mousetrap. And the Serpents followed me right into it... Is she okay? Is Mila okay?"
"She's fine, she's asleep, shes had a rough couple of days." Fp nodded, "She's been trying to keep everyone situated, Sunnyside fell, and while our trailer's still standing, most of them burned." Jughead glared at the wall ahead of him, "Jug, after the rumble, some of the Serpents defected, they... they joined the Ghoulies, others were arrested. More went into hiding, the rest they... they left town."
"The Serpents, they don't exist anymore. We had our time. Nothing for you to do but to get better. And to be there for Mila."
"Mila..." Jughead nodded, "I wanna see her."
"I'll call her up, tell her you're awake. She's been struggling without you."

Mila opened the hospital room door, sighing in relief when she saw Jughead sitting there, he looked to her with a smile, seeing her eyes watering, "No, don't cry. We're okay."
"I-I thought i lost you, i couldn't lose you." She mumbled walking over to him, he moves aside, letting the brunette lay beside him. He squeezed her, rubbing his hand up and down her arm.
"I'm so sorry that i wasn't there for you," He whispered, "I'm sorry i left you to deal with this alone."
"I'm just glad you're okay." She told him, reaching to hold his hand. "I just wanna lay here with you, and make sure everyone's okay. I just need to figure out how to-"
