After they are temporarily kicked out of Sarah's room and Mister Rose heads headed down to the chapel,  Beth stood outside her door for a while. But, she started to feel uncomfortable as she watched the nurses respond to call buttons and visitors heading in and out of rooms. She feels like a voyeur.

She finally stops a nurse and asked if there was a private place that she could wait. She is directed to a waiting room down the hall.

As Beth walks in the door she sees the things she expected to see. A TV mounted on the wall turned to a news channel. Several couches with tables filled with expected piles of magazines. Several racks on the side wall with pamphlets about cancer. What she didn't expect to see or, should she say who was Josiah sitting on one of those couches, flipping so one of those magazines. He looks up as the door shuts and sees her at the same time she saw him.

"Josiah! What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be at work?"

" I found someone to take my shift. Sarah needs me more then they do today." She smiles and joins him on the couch.  "What are they saying and when can we see her?"

"Nothing new and as soon as they are done checking her in."

"Does anyone else know what is going on?"

"Not if you haven't told them."

"No. I wasn't sure what and how much she wants out."

"Me either. We will ask her."

"While we are waiting let's pray for her."  They then join hands and Josiah begins to pray.

"My precious Abba. You know the desires of our hearts and You know why we are here.  You know the fear of our friend and the terror of her father. You know exactly what's going to happen in this situation. We plead for Your peace. We plead for Your healing. We plead for Your will. We pray that you will take this evil that Satan intends to use to try to destroy this family, to destroy our fellowship, our faith. We pray that You will take this and turn it back to Your good. That You will use it to strengthen this family, our fellowship, our faith."

"Dear Sweet Lord," Amy continues," I stand in agreement with everything Your servant, Josiah said. I plead Your peace, Your grace over us. I plead that Sarah's faith may be strengthened and that ours may be too. That her father may be drawn closer to You in this trial. That it, in the end, may be turned into a testimony. That through this mess Your message may get out. Strengthen our friend. Give her and her daddy wisdom as they make the decisions they have to make. Give Your wisdom to Uncle Eric and all that will be working with her. We love You Lord and we thank You for the good that You will accomplish through this. Through Jesus and for His glory we ask this. Amen."

"And amen."

When they looked up they saw that they had been joined by several others including Sarah's daddy. He stood with his head down and tears streaming down his face Josiah walked over to him.

" I am so sorry Mr Rose. Is there anything I can do for you right now?"

"Thank you Josiah. You already have. I know my daughter has good friends. I see now how good. Y'all are terrific. I am so thankful she has you and her life."

" You both do." Beth says as she joins them," and you will as long as you need us." They give him a hug and they all sit down to wait. It isn't long until the doors open in the nurse that comes in says,

" I am looking for the family and friends of Sarah Rose."

"That is us." Mr. Rose responds

"Okay. Follow me. Visiting hours are over in an hour but you can visit until then."
