When they enter, they get right to work. Beth works on her make-up, bringing color into her eyes and bringing ou the color in her eyes. Julia french braids her hair. Then, with the help of the nurses, they get her into the robe her daddy had brought her.

Beth then asks how she is really feeling. "Relieved. I know it seems drastic. Uncle Eric said I could get by with a lumpectomy. I just couldn't handle the thought of any part of the tumor lurking anywhere else. Besides, after all this is over, they can do reconstruction. Maybe, I can even get them bigger." She giggles.

"I get it," says Julia," I don't even if I could be as brave as you are."

"Y'all could be. You find strength you don't know you have in this type of situation. I am still scared. I don't )look forward to losing my hair, being sick, all that. But, knowing the tumor is completely gone gives me very real peace."

"We are very glad too," Beth tells her."and, you know we will be here for everything else."

"I know you will. Now, tell me what happened at school today?" While they wait for the guys, they do. They entertain her with stories of school and their friends. It isn't long before her daddy is knocking on the door.
"Are you decent for male visitors?"

"Yes daddy." Her daddy comes in followed by Abe, Tim, and Josiah, carrying a bouquet with a bunch of pink flowers.

"Hi Sarah. You got you some flowers." Tim greets her.

"Thank so much Tim. They are beautiful."

"Not as beautiful as you are." Declares Josiah.

"Yes, you are very pretty. The girls did an excellent job." adds Abe.

Josiah places the bouquet on the table beside the bed and bends down to give her a hug.

"How are you doing?" asks Abe.

"Surprisingly well. I don't know if it is because I still have drugs in my system or the relief of knowing the tumor is completely out of me."

"And our prayers and flowers. Those help you feel good, right Sarah?" Tim asks.

"Very true. I don't know how I would get through this without y'all."

"Well, we do offer make-up and hairstyling services at your bedside." teases Julia.

"They did get you all prettied up for us." adds her daddy.

"I am sure she was beautiful before they did a thing." says Josiah sending a blush up Sarah's neck. Mr Rose catches Beth's eye and winks at her.

The nurse walk in and request passage through the sea of bodies to get to her patient and get her vitals. They make room for her. She gets her vitals and then starts to add something to Sarah's IV.

"Excuse me ma'ma." Sarah stops her. "What is that?"

"Just a bolus of antibiotics to prevent infection."

"That's fine. I just want to know everything that you are giving me." After she left, they visit for awhile longer. They discuss school and her daddy says he has called them that morning and informed them about all that was going on. Beth says she can pick up any assignments for her, as they are in the same classes.

"Really Beth. I can't get a break from school. This is the perfect excuse to slack off."

"I know you are kidding." Her daddy replies.

"Yep. Y'all know me to well." she says with a yawn.

"Sarah is tired. We should let her rest." declares Tim.

"Thanks guys for your company, the flowers, and, must important, your prayers."

"Anytime. Abything you need." Says Josiah as he hugs her goodbye. They each hug her and promise to see her tomorrow. They also hug Mr Rose goodnight. He will be staying the night
