Chapter 6: Coaching… me to love?

It’s been months nung nag-usap kami nin Kaye about kay Cj. Well, mali nga talaga na isarado ko agad lahat ng doors ko sa kanya. So ayun, go with the flow lang ako. Kaya ayun, feeling ko mas lumalalim na yung feelings ko sa kanya. Well, alam ko naming di pa to love e. Kasi may nabasa akong article sa isang magazine. Difference between love and infatuation yung title.

Infatuation or yung mas kilala nating crush, is a suddenly developed and short-lived emotional attraction towards somebody. It may either die naturally or developed into a stronger feeling as time goes by. While on the other hand, love is a strong feeling of affection towards someone. Love does not develop suddenly but gradually. The feeling intensifies as the couples learn more of each other.

Love:

ü  Developes slowly and growth requires time

ü  Produces security

ü  Recognize reality

ü  Selfless

ü  Bring approval of family and friends

ü  Recognize faults

ü  Center on one person only

ü  Motivates positive behavior and will bring the best in you

ü  Survives separation and the absence makes the heart grow fonder

ü  Recognize the importance of compatibility

ü  Ends slowly

Infatuation:

ü  Developes rapidly

ü  Produces insecurity

ü  Ignore reality

ü  Selfish

ü  Bring disapproval

ü  Ignores faults

ü  Involves several person

ü  Has a destructive effort and will cause you to forget realities of life

ü  Can not survive separation and dies quickly once object of affection is out of sight

ü  Disregard compatibility

ü  End rapidly
