it's been exactly ten hours since michael last saw lauren, and he's been spending that time playing video games, and eating pizza for breakfast and lunch. soon enough, there was a knock at his door, then it opened. "rude, i could've been naked." michael yells.

"as if you've never walked in my house." calum sneers, dropping gigantic bags of weed on the table. michael pauses his game, looking up at him. "hide these, and never bring them out."

"why?" michael questions.

"someone tipped off the police, and they're raiding my side of town. hide these, don't smoke it, and i'll give you half of whatever i make." calum holds out his hand at michael, michael shaking it, sealing the deal.

"so, are you going to air your house out of the smell. because your house is like stoner heaven." michael laughs, calum groaning.

"i'm nose blind, i can't even fucking smell it! ugh, i'm going to get ashley to help me." calum nods, grabbing his new iphone 6. being a drug dealer has it's benefits. he calls her, her immediately agreeing, only if they had sex, which michael laughed at.

"alright cal, i'll hide these. but did you here about the robbery at seven eleven?" he looks up at him, and calum nods, sitting on the other couch, grabbing a controller.

"yeah, someone called in with no name and they were being a smartass." calum laughs. "sounds like you."

"it was me." michael spoke, calum's eyes widening. "i didn't rob them. i was in the parking lot, stoned, and a little drunk, and the robbers didn't see me." michael avoided bringing up lauren in the conversation.

"you're so fucking lucky, mikey, because that was part of the australian purge crew." calum nods, knowing how some people are taking this purge thing seriously.

"oh shit, i could've died." michael muttered. "that's awesome!"

calum drops the controller to the couch, laughing. "you're one weird motherfucker, but i have to go and air out my house. i'm lucky i have my police scanner or i would've went down."

"make sure to rid that too, they're illegal to non police officers."

"i know, mikey, i'm not stupid."

"yeah sure, whatever." michael laughs, going to hide the bags. after he had done so, he decides to sleep all afternoon, and arrive at seven eleven at midnight to either see lauren still loitering around, or to hop in bed with a slut-ish clerk.

          ♋♋♋♋

midnight arrived just as michael stepped foot in the parking lot. he made his way to seven eleven, seeing no crime tape covering the doors, and a board covering the gun shot hole in the glass. when he walked in, the same clerk from last night was there. "if you're here to rob us, there's no money left."

"shut up." michael rolls his eyes. "i actually came to see if you were okay. that was the aussie purge crew that came in here."

she blushes, actually getting attention from someone she's had her eyes on for the longest. "you came to check on me?"

"well yeah, and i need more tops. i dropped my last pack in alcohol." michael lies, his packet of tops still in his other leather jacket pocket. she grabs a pack, leaning forward to put them in his jacket.

"we don't have change to give, so why don't you pay in another way?" she hinted, her fingers sliding against his neck. he read the nametag, livy, then looked up at her. "is there something wrong?"

"no," michael shakes his head. his mind suddenly was clouded with the image of lauren. "shit, i've gotta go. h-here."

michael throws a dollar bill on the counter, and rushes out of the store. he sees the figure sitting on the curb, smoke blowing from her mouth, and into the air. wordless, he sits next to her, pulling his small baggie of weed out. "did you have a quickie?" lauren jokes.

"i tried, she's too clingy. i have a feeling she'll bug me after i fuck her." michael partially lied, rolling up the drugs, then looking at her. "were you watching?"

"i stole a coke, and some chocolate. thank you for distracting her." lauren smiled, michael rolling his eyes. he hadn't heard her walk in, or seen her. sighing, he lights the blunt, watching as his friend luke pulls up.

when luke steps out, he doesn't see michael or lauren, but lauren was staring at him. "he's not single." michael spoke, smirking. "he's never single, he's a manwhore."

"are you jealous or something?"

"no, that's my friend that left me, and i drunkly stumbled down a hill." michael says. lauren nods, then leans against michael's shoulder, wanting to sleep on a comfortable bed, but she can't. luke comes out moments later, talking on the phone.

"i haven't seen michael all day, ash, i swear." luke groans. "stay at his apartment, he might come home soon."

when he pulls away, michael frowns. what does ashton want? last time he spoke to ashton, michael caught ashton in bed with his girlfriend, and they fought, michael won due to ashton's tiredness.

michael turns to look at lauren, who is sleeping on his shoulder, her hands wrapped around his arm. she looked tired already, and didn't want to wake her, nor knew where she lived, so he decided to take her to his house.

it took a while to do so considering michael wasn't as athletic as he used to be. carrying a girl, and walking a far walk is a lot. once he arrived to his house, ashton was sitting on the stairs, waiting. "what the fuck do you want?" michael asks.

"to apologize, and offer you something." ashton speaks. "why are you carrying a girl?"

"none of your buisness, and what's the fucking offer?" michael asks, pushing open the door. ashton makes himself comfy, as michael takes lauren to his only room - his bedroom - and puts the cover over her body.

he stared at her before switching the light off, and trotting down the stairs. "is that your girlfriend?" ashton asks.

"why, you're gonna jump in bed with her too?"

"i would, but that's disrespectful to you."

michael didn't even bother answering, he just listened to what ashton had to offer.
