it's been a week since lauren and michael spoke, neither of them freaking out. it's only because they're going on a date tonight, and they don't want to spend their time together and ruin the date.
michael knocks on the door, his eyes widening at the woman standing in front of him. she looked so royal, and he looked so badass and sluggish. "you're so lucky im her half sister. you would've been in the ditches if me mother and father saw you. lauren!"
"im coming."
lauren comes to the door in a sundress, and a duffle bag. "where's rachel?"
"your mother is in the kitchen, lauren, you can't avoid her. we all live in the same house now."
"i don't live here." lauren mutters, leaving with michael. he waves, rushing down to calum's car he had borrowed. "im changing in the backseat so don't look."
while driving, as much as he wanted to look, he couldn't disrespect her like that. and plus calum would kill him if something happened to his car.
"shit, michael, my bra strap got caught in my hair and it's stuck. can you get it?" lauren whines, waiting as michael pulls the car over, and turns around.
her petite back was clear of any blemishes, the only thing visible was her beauty mark. his fingers trembled as he untangled her hair and the bra strap. once his fibers touched the skin of her back, his breath hitches. "clip it."
"fucking hell lauren, i don't like bras, these little shits are confusing." michael lies, knowing he's getting turned on by the smallest amount of her skin showing.
"suck it up." lauren laughs. as soon as michael clips it, he turns around, and continues to drive, trying to clear his mind of his naughty thoughts.

they reached seven eleven moments later, lauren laughing. "really michael?"
"im getting something. our date isn't in the parking lot." michael grins, getting out of the car. he buys two slurpees, a small thing of liquor, and cigarettes. once he pays, he leaves out to the car.
lauren is playing music from the selection of calum's cd's. green day played throughout the car, until they reached a high cliff that only michael knew of.
"i used to come up here before i met calum, luke, and ash. us four were dropouts, and we got called to the office at the same time. none of us knew each other but when our principal was throwing a fit, and throwing papers everywhere we all knew we'd become friends." michael laughs. "i only came up here because my parents hated me and this was the only place i could be alone without being judged."
"i won't judge you because im just as fucked up." lauren grabs his hand, joining him in the grass. she slurps on her slushy, michael pouring a bit of alcohol. "don't get drunk, you're my ride home."
"we can sleep up here, no one knows where this is but us." michael smirks, laying on his back. lauren places her head on his arm, cuddling to his side, as they stare up at the stars.
lauren sighs, and looks up at michael. "if i tell you something, you promise not to laugh."
"depends on what it is."
"i was homeless when we met, a-and guys would pay me to have sex with them but id take the money then ditch them." lauren shakes her head. "im staying on my sister's room until she returns from her honeymoon. she's moving out, and she said either i makeup with my parents and take her room, or i find a job and get my own place."
"or you could stay with me." michael ignored everything about the paying for sex thing, trying to make lauren smile, in which she did. "and did anyone force you to do anything because i'll beat their sorry asses."
"no, michael, im still a virgin." she laughs, laying back down, happy that michael wasn't quick to laugh at her or judge her because of what she did.
it just made him feel closer to her, like her needs to protect her. as he cuddled her closer, the only thing that came to mind was the word love.
