michael woke the next morning, the smell of breakfast food coming to him as soon as he sat up. "lauren," he grumbles, standing up.

"in the kitchen."

"we were supposed to go out for breakfast." michael yawns in his sweater sleeve, then kisses her on the cheek.

"i don't want you spending money, plus i wanna stay in today. i feel nauseated." lauren complains, michael looking at her with worry.

"do you want anything?"

"i'd like a slurpee, but seven eleven is a far walk." she mutters, turning the fire off, and sitting on his lap. he chuckles.

"i carried you from there to here, i can manage." he smiles. "plus, cal is giving me his chevrolet, so i now have a car."

"yay!" lauren fake cheers, putting her head on his shoulder. "i feel really sick, mikey." michael grins to himself at the nickname.

"do you feel vomit sick or.."

"im not on my period, michael." lauren laughs into his neck, him finding the p word a touchy subject.

"how do girls survive? you guys lose so much blood in seven days." michael says, lauren giggling.

"ask mother nature." lauren smirks. "but i do feel-"

lauren sprints up the stairs, michael knowing he's going to have to pamper her - as if he already doesn't - and care for her like a personal nurse.

he kneels behind her, holding her hair so it wouldn't be in her face. "you want any pills are anything?"

"ibuprofen for my headache, but wouldn't chicken noodle soup help for my belly?"

"yeah, im gonna take a while so i'll call - dear god - ashton. if he tries anything im beating his ass." michael grumbles.

"call luke. i'd rather luke come."

"okay, babe."
