calum sighed for almost the hundreth time, hearing michael call his name. "what, michael?" calum looks at him, michael sitting on the island, holding panties. "put those down."
"who is it?" michael teases, having a heigh advatange considering he's on the island of the kitchen.
"who's your girl? ash and i stopped by but you didn't answer, and all we heard was a girl calling your name."
"i don't know her name, i think it was linda or lindsay." michael shrugs, calum in shock.
"dude, i wasn't serious! i thought it was just lauren." he rushed. "where is she anyways?"
michael's face went pale as he looked down in his lap. calum felt bad for whatever just happened, but he took the panties, then tried to comfort him. "tell me what happened michael."
"i kissed her and she ran. she fucking ran and i haven't seen her since." michael sighs, dragging his hands down his face. rolling his eyes, calum sits on a stool, looking up at him.
"do you know where she lives?"
"no," michael shakes his head. "honestly, i think she's homeless or she doesn't want to return home. she wouldn't let me know where she lives, and the other night she hesitated to ask to stay the night with me."
"did you try your guys' place?" calum asks, knowing michael has a one track mind so he probably forgot to check seven eleven. when michael shakes his head, calum pulls his car keys out. "im trusting you with this car, i swear to god michael if there's even a scra-"
'yeah whatever, thanks cal!" michael grins, happy that calum is actually letting him drive his blue camaro. those cars are fucking sick! when the car starts, michael accidentally squeals like a little girl, his phone ringing. "hello?"
"michael, im so fucking serious." calum's voice growled through the phone.
"i've got it cal." michael chuckles, pulling out of the driveway, going down the street. "you're going to distract me so im hanging up."

michael sits on the hood of calum's car, waiting to see if she shows up any time soon. it's been almost two hours, calum called him twice. he was growing frustrated, but he knew that michael was determined to find her so he left it alone.
"you've been out her an awful long time." a woman says, michael hoping it wasn't linda .. or lindsay. he turns to see a woman probably in her sixties, smiling at him. "waiting for someone?"
"yeah, but i don't think she's coming." he sighs, shaking his head.
"is she someone special?"
"yes, but she doesn't know it." michael smiles slightly, lauren's smile flashing through his mind. "her name is lauren."
"lauren?" the woman croaks. "lauren devine?"
"i don't know her last name, it's sort of a weird friendship."
the elder woman took her time going into her bag, pulling out a flower covered wallet. michael wanted to actually leave now, but he didn't want to disrespect the elder in front of him. "is this her?" the woman holds out of a picture of fetus lauren.
"yeah, how do you know her?" michael rushes.
"t-that's my granddaughter. her parents told me she went to america." she stumbles a little, michael rushing to help her. "oh my, i feel a little light headed."
michael was quiet, not knowing what to do. he was going to excuse himself, until he saw the petite figure stepping in puddles, hands dug deep in her jacket pockets. when she saw them standing there, she froze.
"nana?"
"lauren!' the elder made her way over to lauren, michael staying by the car. "where have you been?"
"i- uh.... i've been with michael." lauren lied, her head nodded toward the boy sitting back up on the car. "h-he's my boyfriend."
her nana knew she was lying, but she let it go. "come visit me, i'm baking cookies tonight. invite your handsome friend too."
when she was gone, lauren made her way into seven eleven, michael behind her. he trapped her in a corner, looking down at her. "im sorry for lying to my nan about you being my boyfrie-"
she was cut off by michael's kiss, and didn't run away.
