How to save a Life

I told her i'd gotten the message loud and clear but i just couldn't stay away i approached the hospital and as sure as a William Shakespeare tragedy there she was lying looking like a corpse from a tim burton movie all i could think is i have to save her or i won't forgive myself so i dropped my guitar and roses scooped her up then ran for the doors once we were inside the hospital i screamed for help she had a faint pulse so there was a chance she'd make it a slim one but i took what i got. The doctors charged and immediately took her to emergency care in the ICU.

"Shes awake" the doctors applauded me on my quick thinking but told me she does not want to see me but i was not having it so i pushed the doctor aside and began proceeding to her door, as i came in the grim room she was just in the bed tears in her eyes while writing song lyrics from what i can tell in a spiral notebook, then i noticed that she was trying to take out her iv and kill herself! so i made myself known as she seemed to be in her own world.

"STOP" i cried then she looked up at me with a puzzled expression but i was not having her hurt herself and besides she needs to live because regardless life is too short. "I just wanted to go to the toilet? i was not trying to kill myself!" flushed with embarrassment he looked at her realizing he'd been doing in only a few sort hours what everyone in her life was doing, worrying without a single solid reason so he got up his own courage and proceeded to make or start a conversation that wouldn't upset her so he looked around her room in the hospital and realized that this is her bedroom because it had some if not most of her things here.

Then he looked downward and noticed a small book with extremely bent binding so he picked it up turned the book on its worn binding and it read 'Grim Fairy Tales' then a small laugh escaped his mouth but not without a glare with judgement from Melody "a...um...what's your favourite fairytale?" he asked hesitantly not expecting a response or even a glance in his direction so he sat down in one of the open chairs in her room.
