Chapter Twenty-Four

It's a dangerous love Affair

Melody looked even younger then before and she was in the same flower field. "I remember this day.." Melody trailed off looking at Peter but he only looked to the side of his face keeping his lips at a safe distance from her scheming lie that she loved him but Melody did because he was so much like her as she is a lost girl they both know each others pain and have felt each others hurt through this shared pain so Melody needed to save Peter and in so doing save herself as well but she zapped herself back to reality and saw the rest of the memory and in this memory she was catching butterflies with her parents she was only a toddler here in the previous memory she was about eight or nine years old.

"You have a beautiful life..."Pan trailed off with the rest of his sentence "let's continue shall we?" then suddenly the happy memory was gone just like that and soon enough it was the first incident when the abnormality's in Melody's life started happening. It was a Saturday and Melody had gone to the mall with a few friends to pick out graduation dresses as they were now leaving elementary school behind and entering high school so obviously there was excitement and stress over finding the perfect dress for any tween but as Melody was trying on a hot pink number which would have turned heads if she ever got to wear it she collapsed looking at herself in the mirror the last thing she recalled was her friends and the Eclipse manager calling nine one one then nothing everything went dark she was alone in the dark crying to the tune of a broken music box.

"S-Stop...please" she saw herself mutter in the memory she was looking to blame someone else for this explainable incident that occurred all that loneliness and pain resurfaced Melody was feeling everything anew again with each tear drop and with the feeling of being cold Peter was observing her with curious eye's "nothing huh?" Melody chuckled "you will need more than that to break me!" to Pan that was a challenge and it was accepted.
