Chapter Forty-Eight

Goodbye.

"He's gone....isn't he" Rapunzel asked Jason but he only nodded and she put her head down and stared at her lap she was now re-hooked up and did not fight because it would endanger Peter and Rumple so she only let tears stream down her face but Jason wiped them away with a tissue. "Don't touch me" she looked at him with all the fury eyes can display. Then all of a sudden there was a shock and she was out into the deepest parts of her mind.

"We'll rewire her mind" Jason looked to the scientist who looked questionably at him but did not question the head honcho so the mechanical rewiring of Rapunzel began. Life was bleaker by the moment and getting worse because Rapunzel saw memory's being changed to fit Jason's ideal but not this time Rapunzel kept Peters face so clear that every last hair was counted on and she knew that it meant she was winning and that fighting can come in many forms and sometimes being brave means facing everything and everyone who comes in your way to stop you.

"Shes fighting, isn't she?" Jason looked to the slim man with glasses which looked to big to be on his small circular face and since he was balding all the sweat droplets were easy to spot. "I don't understand" he said with a German accent but Jason knew Rapunzel was a fighter that was why he wanted her for his own a strong women is a rare find in any world to make it worse she was beautiful so she was just his type but now he had to find a way to get her mind back to a newer cleaner version the approved version.

"I'll miss her" Jason said in a hushed tone but the scientist heard but ignored because he knew of this young person and his violent streak of killing people and his gang affiliations. "She is still resisting I will have to administer some more code into her the drugs may cause spasms but do no be alarmed by them" Jason only nodded he did appear worried but knew she was never his so he may as well destroy her before Peter can ever take her away again. No one took anything or anyone away from Jason he made sure of that and if they did they would not live to tell the tale.

Tale's and fairy-tale's are different and since Rapunzel was taken from her world and brought into another one ans defeating the memory erase serum which is triggered by her disorder Jason worried she might 'wake up' once again and this time kill him so Jason turned to the scientist "make this sleep permanent" so as the serum went in all the movement Jason saw was the exhaling of air. "Let's put her in her room" Jason picked up Rapunzel with her blond hair flowing down he looked at her with thoughts of kisses and almost first times realizing that she was never his and never will be so he placed her in a room also tucked her in, looked away then left the room.
