Chapter Twenty

Unconditionally

"Where are we going?" Melody was more complacent after for what seemed hours trapped in a cage she knew by now resisting was going to get her nothing and no where with Pan but maybe being submissive would drop his guard long enough for her to make a fast escape. "We're going to you're new home" he had a snaky tone about him when he said that but Melody made sure to make a note of everything surrounding her so as to make a mini map in her mind "so...what happens after this" Pan kept walking and Felix turned the other way to ignore Melody's existence so he would not have to look at her face "we're here" he commented to the three of them but it was only a tree with a stair case made of wood what was it leading them to. They all walked up and inside this oak tree was a room with a bed and pillows basically all the necessities of life but she was a spirit here what good was this to her "why.." Melody trailed off with bewilderment in her one word "because once you physically die you will be here forever" Pan exclaimed then Melody took in his bold and cruel words.

No..! No!" she kicked Felix while taking his sword then drew it towards Pan and cornered him against the walls of the room "i like your fire.Remember your mine!" Pan was unfazed by her attack but rather welcomed the violence to him this was the most fun he had since well awhile but this to Melody was no game it was her life and now that she was so close to dying unlike her previous deaths she realized "I Will Die On My Own Terms!" she retorted in the most serious tone with a pinch of anger she could muster. Peter only laughed at her so hard that he cut his throat a little on the blade a tiny cut but she saw the blood tripping on the blade and so did Pan he saw Melody lose focus he then took advantage and shoved Melody back with her own hand and blade now to her neck she tripped and they both collided onto the bed, Pan now on top of her she feared the worst as he is eighteen and sees himself the law of Neverland the judge and jury so what was he planning on doing to the accused.

Melody was paralyzed by her own fear of what will happen next that she did not pay attention to the current situation and it is that her clothes were still on and Pan was only staring down at her "i never force myself on a girl..i'm a monster..but not a demon..." Peter trailed off and never finished his sentence Melody felt her heart go thump bump which indicated that there was a small part of her and she had not yet realized how prevalent that part was the loved Peter Pan "guard her well Felix" Peter left without saying a word but when he did Melody repeated the event's in her mind as they flowed through when Peter spoke about being a monster and not a demon he had a longing a pain so transparent that his eye's had said it all.

"Felix..what is Peter Pan's story because i'm guessing Disney got it wrong" Felix did not talk much or say much after there first conversation probably Pan's coercing him into silence but then out of no where he spoke once he was sure Peter was out of sight "he is a demon and we're all his prisoners...no one knows anything about him other then that he is the first lost boy and resident of Neverland" Melody took in Felix's words and there meaning but as soon as he uttered that sentence Peter made a surprise appearance just popped out of thin air into the tree room "demon am i Felix. I'll show you how much of a demon i can BE!" Peter had never been more serious he stuck his hand into Felix's chest and made it stop beating "STOP I ASKED HE JUST TOLD ME..BARELY ANYTHING!" Peter looked at Felix now almost dead "was that the way of it then?" Felix looked Peter in the eye and nodded so Peter went into his chest and restarted his heart's rhythm then turned his focus onto Melody "if you want to know something about me then ask!" he stated but she knew what he meant was pipe down be good and shut up.

"I..I love you,Unconditionally" Melody said it to Peter which threw him off his guard to the point that he sat down with a shocked expression "you're lying" he looked up at her "no one can ever EVER LOVE ME" then pushed Felix down the wooden stairs and cast purple smoke around the tree "stay in here and rot for all i care" Melody kept screaming and yelling until her voice started to hurt the following phrase "PLEASE DON'T DO THIS!" but Peter with Felix in toe kept walking away until they were no longer even silhouettes.
