Chapter Six

True Loves Kiss

"How can you love me? you don't know me?" Sterling paused and laughed at Melodies perfectly logical questions which caused her small temper to flare but before she could yell out any sort of profanity Sterling kissed her with her residual shock he explained with only four words "love at first sight".

Then a man walked into the room disturbing the two of them he looked to be in his mid to late forties with short hair he was well aged also about six foot seven inches he had a an aura of someone important and all Melody could hear before the haze set in was "good work" then she fell asleep and not one of her own making she was drugged she heard one last thing coming from Sterling "i'm so sorry" then she was out like a light into a dark cloud with her lids as her own prison and love as a lie.

Awaking in a strange white room she first thought she was in an insane asylum but that turned out to not be the case but she looked to see she was restrained "WHERE AM I?" she asked hoping for even the slightest answer or some assurance she is not already dead and in purgatory then someone entered the room he was equipped with a gun at his side this man was Sterling Knight. "So why am i here?" silence was stretched more so now between the two strangers but one thing was clear for Melody and it was that she is in danger and maybe if she can manipulate Sterling then just maybe she can be free.
