Chapter Eight

"So you wanna play with Magic"

"Kiss me" Sterling always came in after the 'operations' which extracted parts of her she did not know could be removed and the doctors didn't need to use anesthesia because all they needed to do was make Melody stressed out or sometimes shed just be out but just in case she ever woke up they had he room rigged to release a sleeping gas and the doctors always worked with hazmat suits on so Melody never saw there faces,to sooth her they sent in Sterling to talk to her and be a fake friend but she needed him on her side if she ever had a chance to even escape and her anger and disgust at her family and these people would have to be put to the side because survival and escape is the only thing she needs to be thinking about as her life is on the line.

Every time Sterling came in they'd switch the music to some new or trendy pop artist in her cell to calm her while they chatted so shed eat, gotta keep there guinea pig alive right? "What!?" Sterling was in shock at her request so she needed to think of a quick response as to throw the others off her plan a bait and switch if you will "you heard me i want you to kiss me, as long as i'm here i might as well have my first kiss before every inch of me is gone" the song that was playing was 'Dark Horse by Katy Perry' so as the music got louder Sterling clicked a button and suddenly the room was dark and no one could see a thing outside and the music stopped playing which worried everyone but since Melody was strapped in like a patient at an insane asylum. Suddenly looking at Melody in the eyes her placed his had on her shoulder a cringe or disgust went through her but she bit her tongue and looked at him back and finally he kissed her and it felt like liquid fire, hot and passionate then Melody saw a key the key to her cuffs and since this place was on red alert she caught on "you're helping me?" he smiled at her "you'd try to escape either way but this way it has a higher luck for success".

So as the walls were closing in and locking up he shot through some glass and picked me up but before we went out the window he asked melody something "do you trust me?" she looked down at the ground and back at her cell and either way shes dead meat so she responded with a solid "yes" and out the window they jumped and watched the buildings whooshing around them at high speeds. Sterling kissed Melody again but she was sad because this might be the last time as the ground full of cement was enclosing fast and they plummeted and landed with a loud thud.
