Chapter Seven

"I'll Be Your Hero'

"Your in a government facility,experiment #1994 i'm telling you this because you won't leave as your part of project "Forever" that's all i have to say on the matter" tears streamed down her face "so what's your real name?" shocked by her question he paused with hesitation as she was observant for someone deemed 'only for scientific purpose' which basically means someone less than human in this place "why did you get assigned to me i assume you were because that love at first sight stuff was obviously bull" again the boy who kissed the sleeping princess only to led to a living hell spoke "my name is Sterling Knight that is my real name and i did fall for you when i saw you almost instantly" anger flushed into her veins as he spat his lies in-front of her again and again.

"Then let me go! oh and what is this 'forever project'?" Sterling looked up and his eyes could not meet hers but regardless he answered her question " it's to figure out the secret behind your disease and not cure it but replicate its effects of anti-aging then synthesis that and sell immortality or our scientific version of it to the highest bidder". His eyes remained unattached and distant but Melody began to cry realizing she'd been donated to these sick people who will sell her DNA or bone marrow or dissect her in order to help some rich old bastards life suddenly her hospital bed looked like heaven. But without her mom she had no family left so where would she go and she has no way to function in the real world was this her fate from the get go.

"I'm sorry about this all Melody" She looked into Sterling's deep baby blue eyes to see if he felt any sympathy for her and most importantly if she can use his sympathy to get out of here"So did you save me only for this experiment where i get all cut up like a ninth grade biology lab rat or is there another reason? " again nothing but silence but Melody wanted answers and some advantage just because her family abandoned her and the world had already declared her legally dead does not mean she was ready to be "answer me" Sterling looked into her eyes and the gaze held for a few minutes "i feel something for you, but don't read to much into it, might just be pity" so all Melody had to do was turn pity into love, great with all her love experience that should be a no brainier.
