Sleeping Beauty (original story)

Chapter Forty-Six

Fire.

Rapunzel awoke in a hospital bed but was under her old name Melody and Peter was on a stolen I.D registered as her guardian he had told the doctors she had gotten into an accident but the driver left her for dead and someone found his number in her wallet in doing so contacted him then he drove her here. They bought it and Rapunzel was released later that day with Peter sure the dizziness was natural but the dread was normal and Rapunzel was scared but Peter said they needed to stop off at the cabin to get some weapons and other items that they would need and they drove up and parked nothing looked out of place or gave cause for concern.

But Peter hadn't come out in a while so Rapunzel took the steering wheel turned it to drive and blasted the on the breaks and with a 'vroom' she sped into the house with the anxiety in her gut growing and there she saw a group of people holding Peter at gun point with Jason staring at her hinting for her to get out and all she had was a tiny pistol but she hid it in her back pocket without it looking noticeable. "Hello sweetie, missed me?" Jason smirked and then she heard Peter grunt "leave....her....alone" he was bloody down his chin and breathing while gurgling on his own blood "what do you want?" she confronted her old captor with the pain of looking at her beloved's disheveled appearance "come here, trade places" Jason made it simple he did not need Peter she was the primary enchanted princess who was easily erased and then come back to herself "fine" she began walking then went for her gun and shot the man and women holding Peter but in the process got shot in the arms and a leg.

"AH!" she screamed in pain writhing in the agony but Peter raced to her side only to get pistol whipped at the back of the head and rendered unconscious "come now and he will be okay,don't and you both die here" then Jason pointed his gun at Peters head and so Rapunzel dropped her weapon and let them cuff her and along with the chains came a needle which Jason himself administer in her neck the liquid felt frozen and cold but then she fainted while still fighting to stay awake she herd her and Peters names mentioned. Fear was building and with a limp and worthless body she was unsure of what lay beyond the horizon.
