"No, you can not be my girlfriend." Roderich Edelstein had said to you. You started to cry and ran in the opposite direction.

At Hetalia High, Roderich  Edelstein was the most popular with the ladies. Every girl had a crush on the uppercut Austrian. Unfortunately he was the cruelest person on Earth. Just to make girl's tears shed, he set up a competition that if he takes one look at a girl, he can decide whether or not the girl is worthy of him or not. And you were like the others, unworthy. You have been bullied all your life and never really had a friend that didn't stab you in the back. You thought being Roderich's girlfriend would change that, but your hopes were to high. As your running and crying receded, you heard whispers.

"What was she thinking?" One whispered.

"Roderich would never love someone like her." Another followed.

"She should never find happiness." Said another.

You continued to walk to your special room, were you would go when the rest of the world was against you. It was a abandoned music room with a dusty Steinway and Sons sat ready to be played. You sat down on the bench and held your hands over the keys. After a moment you started to play the only song you could. (Please listen to the one above! As you played the notes reached the far ends of the school. An urban legend states the piano plays at the ends of school everyday. Everyone thinks it's a ghost, but really it was you, even though you thought they were dead on. Some students would cry in fear, but others enjoyed the music the ghost was giving them. After a couple times through, you went home.

The next day, you didn't even look Roderich in the eye. You wanted to keep your distance, and he wondered why. After classes were completed, you went into the same music room and played the piece once more, except you put more feeling into it. You put past pain of all the bullying and Roderich telling you no into this piece of music. When everyone heard it, they felt something in the music that just made them want to cry. Even Roderich felt this way. In the middle of a club meeting he stood up.

"Roderich?" The club president asked.

"Sorry. I must find the player of this piano!" Roderich said with a  face of desperation.

'I must find who this player is! I don't care if it's a he or a she, but whoever it is I will make them my partner!' He thought.

"But we are in a-" With that Roderich ran out the door and went to his locker to get his violin. He continued to search the hallways till he found your hidden escape room. He pecked open the door to see the back of a girl. He sighed in relief that won't have to date his own gender. He pecked in again and saw you had (H/L) (H/C). He now loved your hair color! He tried to think about who has your hair length and color. He drew a blank and decided to come into the forbidden room and play the piece with you, and he did. You immediately stopped your playing and looked to see the one who played the sweet violin. You and Roderich looked at each other astonished! He then came closure and realized you had no music sheets for the beautiful piece you played.

"Did you... make this song?" He asked.

"Y-Yes." You answered softly.

"Then, young lady will you be my girlfriend?" He asked with great amounts of passion.

"No." You answered then ran out of the room to go home. He only stared at your retreating figure as he felt a lot of pain.

A week had past and you didn't play the piece of music once. Why? Because Roderich was at school! If you played, he would just come in and try to seduce you. You didn't want to get hurt again. He didn't even know your name! You walked through the hallways hoping never to see his perfect face. One day you realized he wasn't at school, so after your classes were completed you went into the music room to play your piece. Half way through your music, Roderich joined in and played with you till the very end. The whole school heard the sweet music and started to cry tears of rejuvenation. After the piece was done you turned to look at Roderich.

"What do you want Roderich?" You snarled, through your teeth.

"(Y/N), I am sorry. I was so unkind to you and didn't take in any chances that you gave me. I also asked you to be my girlfriend unfairly and didn't consider your feelings in the slightest, so let me do it right this time. Please be my girlfriend (Y/N)! If you don't say yes then I will surely die of sadness." He asked in complete desperation. You smiled and started to cry tears of joy.

"Yes." You answered, then hugged your new found lover. After that you played many pieces together.
