"Wait what? What do you mean the new student started to bully Feli?!" You stammered. As Student Body President of Hetalia Prep, you had to know things like this, but you never would have imagined the new kid would have started bullying little Feliciano. And why Feliciano? He was the school sweetheart, so why would any one bully him?

"Yeah! Didn't you hear, Dudette? The new student cornered him in the hallway. Poor dude..." Alfred informed. You shook the thoughts out of your head and ran to the scene. After a couple of minutes, you finally found the big crowd of people. You squeezed threw the large crowd to see the act. Feliciano was pushed against the wall, with a face of clear horror, and the new student had put his hand on both sides of his face. You walked toward them and grabbed the new student's wrist.

"Berwald. What are you doing?" You asked, in a serious fashion. Berwald looked at you, then back at the now petrified Feliciano. He released Feli's prison and looked at you again. Berwald Oxenstierna was a 5'11" male with short blond hair and dazzling aqua eyes. He was handsome, but referred to as 'scary.' Even you had to admit to this. He was a complete mystery to you, and you wanted to figure him out. As Student Body President, you wanted to know what everyone was feeling, and this was proven difficult for you, when it came to him.

"I was trying to make a friend..." Berwald spoke slowly, yet deep. You could hear all his new fangirls wail and scream out of affection.

"Berwald... I appreciate that you're making an effort, but you can't do that... at least like that..." You said, in a frustrated tone.

"I... don't understand the problem..." Berwald slowly spoke.

"And I can't seem to understand your emotions..." You murmured, out of frustration. After a couple of seconds you got an idea, "Wait! Berwald! I can be your first friend!" Berwald raised his eyebrow in confusion.

"Why would you do that?" He asked.

"See our objectives can mash together! My goal is to understand you better, and your goal is to make a friend. Right? So in order to make both of our lives easier, we become friends! How about it Berwald? Let's be friends!" You explained, as you stuck out your hand to him. Hesitantly, he reached for your significantly smaller hand. By now everyone left, besides you and Berwald. You split ways and went to your classes.

After school, you were about to leave, until you saw Berwald waiting by the gate. As you walked toward him, you noticed the atmosphere got eerier by the second. When you finally got to the gate, Berwald grabbed your arm and started to drag you down the street. Bystanders watched this and gave you an expression of pity. You prepared for the worst, until he let go at a little Nordic Bakery. You looked at him, with a surprised expression, but eased the tenseness into a soft smile. You followed Berwald into the little Bakery, to find it welcoming yet empty. No people. It was a darling little shop though.

"Would you like anything to eat?" Berwald asked, as he was putting on his apron.

"Um? What do you have?" You questioned, as you looked at the menu above him.

"I recommend the Swedish Coffeebread." He commented.

"Then I'll have that." You requested happily. As Berwald was pulling out the coffee bread, you heard a huge scream from the kitchen. Both you and Berwald looked toward the kitchen door. A blond haired boy, with purple eyes, came out of the kitchen. After a second you figured out the blond boy was none other then Tino.

"Tino? What happened?" Berwald asked, in complete monotone. Tino looked at Berwald then at you.

"Oh! Ms. President! I didn't know you came to this humble café." Tino said, in a cheery tone.

"It's nice to see you too Tino, but what happened in the kitchen? Why is there so much smoke?" You asked, with hints of fear in your tone.

"Oh! Well Mr. Matthias started chasing me around with a Troll's Horn, and let's say... we left something in the oven too long!" Tino nervously admitted, as he rubbed the back of his neck. You signed, out of annoyance, then looked back to Berwald.

"So how much is the coffee cake?" You asked.

"It's on the house..." Berwald replied.

"No! I have to pay you!" You retorted.

"Fine... It'll be a date." Berwald informed. 'Wait! What! A date!'

"Hold on! What do you mean a 'date?' Please tell me that's a joke!" You stammered, as you held a nervous smile. Berwald leaned over the counter and gave a unsettling glare, "Um, what I meant to say was sure! I'd love to Berwald!"

"Really?" Berwald questioned. You nodded in agreement, but you kept your eyes closed. Berwald gently grabbed you hand and placed the paper bag on your palm. You gave Berwald a weird look, but then eased your uneasy expression into a kind smile. As you walked out of the shop, you realized what you gotten yourself into. When you made it home, you got a text from an unknown number.

(XXX) XXX-6687:

Hello. Guess who?

You stared at the message for 5 minutes. 'Who is this? Is this a prank texter? Or a stalker?!' Thoughts ran in and out of your head, until there was another ping.

(XXX) XXX-6687:

This is Berwald by the way.

You breathed a sigh of relief. After a moment of hesitation, you started to text back.

You:

Yeah sorry about that! I was doing homework!

Berwald:

Oh. Okay. Are you ready for the date?

You:

Yeah... When are you coming?

Berwald:

Now

Suddenly there was a knock at your front door. You jumped out of surprise, then went over to greet him. When you opened the door, Berwald hung over your figure. Sweat started to run down your forehead, until Berwald sighed.

"I'm sorry." He spoke in monotone.

"Sorry? For what? You didn't do anything!" You asked, in a kind tone. He grew silent and honestly so had you. You then got an idea! You put your hand in his and lead him back out the door. You sat down on the porch stair and motioned him to do the same. Berwald was hesitant, but sat next to you anyway. While you looked at the shining stars, there was another moment of silence.

"Berwald?" You asked. He looked at you almost immediately. "What are you sorry about? You didn't do anything wrong."

"For not having the right emotions at the right time." He answered, as he looked away embarrassed.

"Well, I guess you're right. You don't show your emotion that much. Even though there are a lot of people, who show their emotions almost immediately, I think there should be all types of people out there. Introverted or extroverted. Rude or polite. Smart or idiotic. You need certain people to help make you grow. You can't do it all on your own. I don't mind if you don't say a lot, or act like the others. Just stay the way you are, because everyone likes you that way anyhow." You said, with a kind smile. Berwald looked at you for a second. Without any time to delay, you placed your lips on his. He was surprised, but then eased into it. It was sweet and passionate.

Even though the world is full of people, we were not created to be the same. That's why we have different hair, skin, and eye color. Our minds and senses work differently. Be who you are, because changing won't make anything better for you, unless if it's natural. We were born and raised for a purpose. That purpose is to live happily, as yourself.
