Hello Readers! I am back again! Sorry for my disappearance again. I finally finished a request I received for a Chrollo x Reader, so that is why I have not written since the third of June; However, I probably will end up not doing another oneshot again for a while since I am working on Hallelujah; Hajime Iwaizumi x Reader. I love and appreciate all of you for reading my very much hidden oneshot book. As always, Happy Reading!!

You were the country of Croatia, a beautiful country with an environment similar to your neighbor Italy. Your home is considered 'unstable' financially, but it is beautiful place to live. Maybe not one of anyone's favorite destination spots, but everyone should come see! Anyway, during World War 2, the axis took you over and occupied you  for a long time. During that long time, you were forced to be around a certain neighbor of yours, Italy. How could you be so weak to be beaten and maintained by one of the most disruptive and weird countries in the world?! All hope in defeating Italy was lost on May 19, 1941, when Italy had complete control over you. Surprisingly, Italy was really nice. Even though his armies were cruel to my people, he still treated me like a fellow country. Of course, he flirted and slept in the same bed as you and would not shut up about pasta!

The war was over and the axis lost a rough defeat; However, that did not stop you or the axis from turning themselves around. You joined the NATO in 2009 and you were proud to be around people just like you; However, there was one person you always kept your eye on. He had slicked back, blond hair and beautiful blue eyes. He was the one and only Germany. You could not help but hold a small blush on your cheeks when you thought of him, even though it was wrong! During the war, you would see Germany sometimes, but he was usually angry and argued with every single Italian solider about there lack of professionalism. Sadly, most of your country's choices were not part of your own. You were with Italy most of the time or you were locked away since you were a woman. You never knew what went on until ministers told you the news at 9:00 pm. It was ridiculous!! You deserved to know what was going on, but you were not allowed that honor; Therefore, your country was another Italy to Germany. You talked to Germany three times. Once, saying hellos. Second, talking about the war. And thirdly, saying sorry for bumping into each other.

One day, you were walking into the meeting building for another seminar about world peace, which never ended well, until you saw Germany tuckered out on a nearby bench. You looked around and saw no one. You grabbed all your courage and walked over to him. Germany was man spreading across the whole bench.

"Excuse me? Are you alright Mr. Germany? You look pretty tired..." I asked softly, loosing a lot of my confidence. He opened his eyes to look at me and jumped a little. Without asking, I sat down next to him and gazed into his beautiful blue pools.

"Y-Yes! I am fine!! It is nothing to worry about Miss Croatia..." There was a pause of silence as a little breeze had time to swish a leaf in front of you and Germany. Out of no where, he continued, "I just have an annoying friend who does nothing but sleep all day and eat pasta. It can get on my nerves sometimes." You giggled a little. You had a friend like that too!!

"I know someone on those lines. He constantly flirts for literally no reason and I saw him chew on a wax candle that took me absolute hours to make. He claimed he was hungry and it looked like a honey candy." You smiled, remembering Italy's weird predicaments.

"Oh yeah! My friend once held an active grenade in his mouth when I was teaching him how to throw them. Long story short, it ended badly! Though I am surprised he did not loose any teeth." Germany grumbled, as he crossed his arms in sternness. A little part of you thought he was challenging your friend with his friend, so continued.

"Really? Well, my friend once at 5 day old pasta that baked in the sun. It was moldy and completely inedible but he ate it anyway. He should have been lucky that his immortality prevents him from dying!" You shot back. It was not the worst memory you could recall, but eating old pasta without a speck of dignity was far worse than blowing up.

"Well, my friend always surrenders from battles and women. He never takes anything seriously! It is kind of a hassle, that is for sure." Germany sighed heavily, looking down at his feet.

"Do not worry! I have a friend who does that too," You thought about what he said and thought of Italy, "By any chance, is said friend, Italy?"

"Y-Yes! He is!! How did you-" Before he could speak another word, I put a finger on his lips to shut him up. He acted so flustered that it painted a little hue of pink on my cheeks. A small yet warm smile was drawn on your features and had little chances of being ripped away.

"Because I am friends with Italy too.  Who knew he would be our annoying friend..." You thought out, whimsically. You smiled up to the sky as little thoughts ran through your head. You have never felt so at piece with yourself.

"I guess it is something we share in common, huh?"

"Huh? W-What did you-" Before you could comprehend the situation, soft lips lightly touched your cheek. A large, red hue painted your face all the way down to your neck. You looked over to Germany to see him smiling lightly as you were doing before he kissed your cheek. Felling a little tired, you laid your head on his shoulder and snuggled into it. Even though he ruled you a while back, you still felt like this was right. Everything was all right.
