"Mr. America! Get back here! You can't run forever!" You screamed. In short words, you were a bodyguard for a immortal country! When you were first given the assignment, you got super confused. The question about the country being immortal... What ever happened to that? After meeting America, you understood why you were hired as his bodyguard. He needed a babysitter of course! You were currently at his house, trying to catch him, because he had a meeting with his boss. As you chased after him, you could hear him laughing in amusement. 'That's it! I'm done with him!' You thought as you started to run faster. America looked over his shoulder to see you with a furious expression. You were gaining speed. Instead of being afraid, he laughed to himself. Second after second, you were gaining ground. Once you were close enough, you wrapped your arms around him. You both fell to the ground. As you forced your eyes open, you looked to see you were on top of America. His hair was all over the place, and his glasses were on the floor. The scene all most looked like you got done doing something dirty. A deep red hue made it's way to your cheeks, then you quickly got off of him. 'This so embarrassing!! I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED!! DID THAT ACTUALLY HAPPEN?!' You screamed mentally.

"M-Mr. America?! Please forgive me!! I didn't-" You blurted, before you were interrupted.

"Dudette, it's fine really. I was teasing you and that was your only way of stopping me. And hey it worked didn't it? I'm ready to go to the boss. Man, he's so stuck up!" He spoke, with a grin ear to ear. Your blush faded a little, but was still present on your face. You nodded and walked with him to his boss's office. Once at the door, you looked at him.

"Do you want me to come in with you?" You asked.

"Nah... There is no reason for you to have to come in and hear what is most likely a scolding for doing something wrong. And if it is something else, then I'll just tell you. Alright?" America replied. You nodded you head in agreement, then leaned against the wall. America went in. After twenty minutes, America came out again and looked at you.

"So... What was the meeting about?" You asked.

"Oh, at first he yelled at me, but then he told me about different business about other countries. Like I thought, you didn't need to be in there." He admitted, "He also said I have a day off. So can we go to the streets?!"

"Wh-Well... Alright then, but you need to stay with me at all times. Don't wonder off." You commanded, as you pointed at him. You wouldn't have known, but America was mentally calling you a 'adorable tsundere.' His small smile graced his tanned features.

"Alright, alright, fine. I promise to stay by your side today." America promised, as he raised his hands in defense. You nodded in agreement, then started to walk down one of the long hallways. America's eyes widened, as you walked further away. Before he could ask where you were going, you turned around with a genuine smile. Even though he probably would never admit it, he liked the way you smiled. "Don't worry Mr. America, I'm just going to go change into something more comfortable."

"OK (Y/N). I'll wait for you... where?" He asked.

"I'm going to my apartment, but you can come with me if you want." You said casually. America started to become very flustered.

"Wh-What?! Seriously?! I-I want to respect you personal space, and I don't want to be a bother-" America stuttered before being interrupted.

"America? You won't be a bother, unless you're planning on taking a peak when I'm changing. Otherwise, you won't bother me in the slightest." You reassured. America let out a sigh of relief then slowly nodded his head. As you started walking down the hallway again, you knew America was following. Once you got back to your apartment, you grabbed what seemed cute and went to the bathroom to get changed. America on the other hand, was looking at everything in your little home. As he walked around, he saw your family pictures. As he looked at each one his interest in you started to grow. He saw you had a big brother that joined the army. In the next picture, he wasn't there. America's happy expression disappeared, and reformed a sad frown. He... didn't know this about you. Before he could lightly touch the picture you came out of the bathroom.

"Ready to go Mr. America?" You asked, in a cheery tone. He nodded, but his gaze wasn't on you, but on the picture that sat there. You glanced at what he was looking at and sighed. "The happy family we were. My brother joined the army when I was young. He... said he was going to fight for you, so when I was old enough I joined secret service. He died a year after that, and I really questioned myself if it was worth fighting for. Protecting you I mean. I finally came to the conclusion that it is worth fighting for you. Anyway let's just go already!" You cheered once more. America nodded happily, grabbed your wrist, and pulled you out the door. After several minutes of wondering around town, you tried to figure out what to do with America.

"Hey, do you want to get a hamburger with me?" America asked. You knew he really wanted one so you nodded. America smiled brightly, then dragged you along. After getting a Big Mac, sodas, and extra-large fries, you walked around the streets of D.C. You were not feeling too hot. That was way to much food. After a while of digesting, America pulled you into his favorite ice cream shop. While he got American Dream, you got simple got (vanilla/strawberry/chocolate) ice cream. After you left the shop, you and he watched a bit of the parade, before he tugged at your wrist.

"What is it Mr. America?" You asked.

"I have a special spot. Come with me?" He asked. You nodded as you allowed him to carry you to his special relaxation spot. Honestly, you didn't know what to really expect! You wondered where he was leading you to. You thought of all the possible outcomes, until America snapped you out of thought. "We're here!" He cheered. You looked at you surroundings to find you were a grassy hill, isolated from trees. The most wonderful thing about the destination was the amazing view! The view showcased a mother-load of Washington D.C.

"Wow..." You said in awe, "I never knew this spot even existed! This is amazing and so beautiful." You trailed off, as you looked out to the setting sun.

"Well, not as beautiful as you dudette." America spoke. A red hue appeared on your soft cheeks again. As you looked at America surprised, he glanced at you once in a while. He lifted your hand in his own. Strangely, you didn't want to push him away. You wanted to stay like this.

"(Y/N)? You do know I love you right?" He asked.

"Yeah... Mr. America" You trailed off, as you leaned your head on his shoulder.

"You don't have to call me that way. You have always been so polite with your titles, but why don't you call me something less formal."

"Okay Mr. America. Can I call you Alfred?" You suggested.

"Alfred?! Why that name of all things?" He abruptly asked.

"Because it's an all American name of course. Why? What you want me to call you?" You joked.

"No, no, it's just... Alfred is my real name, so... yeah. Do you want to go out for another burger?"

"Yeah."

America's Secret:

Though America likes to openly admit to his feelings, he likes to hide them away. On that note, America still lives like a kid from the 50's. His idle date is going out for burgers, shakes, and ice cream. Then watching a movie or watching a parade. Though they are generic, he likes the way the type of date works.
