Request from @-Sevexy- Happy Reading!! I actually enjoyed writing this one.
Nothing is better than reading a book on a rainy day. Everything that stresses somebody out fades away. The only thing to be heard is the sound of the rain. You are the Åland Islands, an archipelago province that belongs to Finland. During most of history, Finland and Sweden had been on good terms, so you obviously had to know Sweden to an unbelievable extreme. The first time you met Sweden, you were at the World Meeting with Finland. The kind country introduced you to his friend Sweden, and you immediately fell head over heels. Not to hard though! Heat would rise to your poor cheeks every time you knew he was present in the area. You poor thing! Anyhow, you are staying at Sweden's house for Finland, because he has something important to do. Whatever that means! Finland knows that you like Mr. Sweden and he grins widely every time he enters the room. Every time he did so, you want to die and be forgotten. Currently, you reading a book was the only thing keeping Sweden off your mind. At least, until he enters the room. A large blush paints its way to your cheeks, as you continue to read the same paragraph for the twentieth time. Thinking he would get something and leave, you didn't acknowledge his presence, until you feel a shift on the couch you are on. You glance over at Sweden to see him reading next to you.
"W-What are you reading Mr. Sweden?" You query, putting your book down. Sweden glances at you with his monotone expression, before focusing on his magazine again.
"An IKEA magazine." He answered slowly, still staring at his book. After a moment, he tries to speak to you, but nothing comes out of his mouth, "What are you reading?"
"Oh! Just... a history book. I have to keep informed on these things you know..." You stuttered, trying to keep the conversation alive; Nevertheless, it works! Sweden puts his magazine down and turns his body to face you.
"Doesn't Finland keep you up on world affairs? I would probably guess he doesn't." Sweden comments softly.
"No, but I know why doesn't. He just wants to keep me sheltered, you know? Nothing is wrong about being sheltered, but it's not bad to know what's going on either." You smile at yourself, before looking at Sweden. He holds a confused expression, that makes you a little nervous and anxious.
"Then why are you reading a history book? Shouldn't you be reading a newspaper?" Sweden deadpans, as sweat rolls down your forehead. Looking at the book on your lap, you pick up the binding and placing it to your side.
"Touche," You sigh, looking at the book for a couple of moments, "So what do I owe this visit?" You ask, trying to create another conversation. Sweden tilts his head to the side and holds a confused expression.
"Do I need a reason to be with you?" Sweden asks, causing a large blush to cover your cheeks once more. You turn your head away from the tall country, before standing up quickly. You pat you sides nervously trying to think of something to say; Unfortunately, you didn't know what to say and walk downstairs to the kitchen. As you look around, you come across a bag of Swedish Fish. Yes the candy! Looking at the bag, you find a note that says,
Dear, The Person Who Found This Note
I should inform you that this is my bag of candy. M I N E ! If I find that it is open, before I can get to it, I will find you. Track you. And eventually... Give you the speech of your life. Trust me, I have been told that my speeches are worse than death. Do not eat my candy! If you found the bag, you must be hungry for something sweet, so find something else that I don't care about. Like cake or something. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Mr. Sweden
'What was that about?!' You wonder, as you look at the note on the bag. I guess you won't be having Swedish Fish for awhile. To bad too! You were know in the mood for the gummy fish! Nevertheless, you put the Swedish Fish back where you found it, and got out a glass to fill water into. After the glass was empty, you put it in the sink and looked back at the bag of candy. 'What can a few piece hurt?' You ask yourself, before grabbing the bag again. With hesitation, you open the bag and start to eat. 'Mm... So good~' You think, grabbing another one. This continues, until the bag is almost empty.
"This is like heaven~" You mumble, not expecting a reply.
"What's heaven to you?" A masculine voice asked. Your eyes widen, before looking over your shoulder to see Sweden with a little glare. Sweden looks at the Swedish Fish bag, then at you, then at the gummy hanging out of your mouth. Sweden sighs, before walking up to you, "You ate my Swedish Fish." He commented. Fear reaping at your soul, you nod, "There was a note that said not to eat them. You saw it, didn't you?" He asks, while you nod. Sweden looks into the bag to see it's almost empty. Looking at you again, he stares at the one hanging out of your mouth. With swift movement, he takes a bite from the remaining gummy, brushing his lips against yours. Crimson replaces the color of your face. You put your hand on your lips, before looking away shyly. Sweden puts a gummy fish in his mouth and lowers to your level, looking away slightly. With hesitation, you slowly bite down on the gummy and end up brushing his lips with your own. Sweden puts the last one in your mouth, and swiftly kisses you. Surprise took over your senses, until you kiss him back. This is what you wanted after all. Right? Seconds, that felt like hours, passed and you both still didn't release, until you heard a snap. Both you and Sweden look behind, to see a giggling Finland filming the whole thing.
"You two will thank me later!" Finland smiles, before running off.
