You had been friends with Antonio Fernández Carriedo for a very long time. You and him had always been very close, but not that close. You and he were just friends, and you both liked it that way. You both lived in Spain together, since you were little, and always hanged out with each other. Why? Because he had a large fortune and you had a bigger one. Your father was a land owner in Spain, and then became a merchant. He had both jobs and handled it well. So, you and your family moved to France. When you left Antonio, you were only 7. Your servants and parents always teased you about flirting with men to snag a rich husband, but you didn't see their teasing as a joke. You saw it as the truth. Being a merchant/land owner's daughter, you had to marry someone that knew how to handle money. Why were you forced to be friends with Antonio? Because he was rich, just like you. You were very beautiful and kind, but you were sarcastic and hated the glares of flirters. Every man would want you for a reason; your money, your body, your personality, or your talents. Now you are the age of 21, which means you can see your bestfriend again. You rode by carriage to Spain, and was dropped off at Antonio's mansion. It was his father's before both his mother and father passed, so the inheritance went directly to him. You read from many of his letters that a few years after you left, Lovino went to a school in Southern Italy and of course both their parents died. You knocked on their large door, and Antonio opened it.
"Yes? May I help you?" Antonio answered, with out looking at you.
"Is that really the way you should treat an old friend?" You asked, in a proud tone. Antonio shot his eyes on your features and gave you a huge hug.
"(Y/N)! Bienvenido! How are you? Was the trip fine? How's your padres? Do you have a place to stay?" Antonio kept asking questions, that you could not remember at the same time.
"Slow down Antonio. Let's sit down and talk about it okay." You suggested. You both came inside and sat down in the parlor.
"It's so nice to see you again amigo, but why did you come back to Spain?" He asked.
"I just came back to check on you two. I mean, you parents just..." You said, with tears running down your cheeks.
"Well, gracias (Y/N)." Antonio thanked. There was a moment of silence, until Lovino came into the room.
"Antonio? Who the hell are you talking to?" Lovino yelled, as he walked into the room.
"Oh, Lovino. (Y/N) has come back to us!" Antonio uplifted his voice, so Lovino would listen.
Lovino eyes widened, as he watched you sit up from your seat and turn to look at him. He blushed a pale pink when you looked at him.
"Lovino, it's nice to see you again too." You said cheerfully, with a small smile and a faint blush. Lovino blushed even harder.
"Whatever, I don't care ragazza. I going out Antonio, need anything?" Lovino asked Antonio, pretending that you didn't even exist. You just brushed it off your shoulder though.
"Si! Some flour will be nice for tortillas."
"Okay, ciao." And with that Lovino left. You talked with Antonio for a good couple of hours, until Lovino came back. You all prepared dinner, and sat down at the long dining table. You all ate the variety of Spanish foods and talked about all that happened between you three, when you departed. You noticed the whole time, Lovino didn't even speak a word at dinner! This made you feel uneasy. Even when you were little, and your parents were seeing how you and Antonio got along, you had a crush on Lovino. You believed him to be handsome, smart, and cool. He would "save" you from other boys that flirted with you. You thought Lovino felt the same about you, until now. 'Maybe it's stupid to think Lovino still cares about me.' After you all went to your rooms, Lovino went into Antonio's room and woke him up. Lovino head butted Antonio's stomach.
"Ouch ¿Qué diablos Lovino? Estaba durmiendo buenos sueños." Antonio quietly screamed.
"Shut up, you bastard. I need to talk to you about something important. So pay attention." Lovino said, "I think I have fallen in love with (Y/N), once more." When Lovino looked over, Antonio was crying tears of joys, as he looked at his adopted brother.
"Will you stop looking at me like that! It's creeping me out!" Lovino quietly screamed.
"Well, what do you want me to do amigo?" Antonio asked.
"Since you are my adoptive brother, I want you to teach me the art of seduction, so I may have a chance with la bella ragazza." Lovino demanded of Antonio.
"What's that magic word Lovino~ You didn't say it~" Antonio stated to Lovino.
"Please?" Lovino said, extending the s and e. Antonio nodded and started to teach Lovino. Through the long night, Lovino learned every Spanish style of dance and was ready to dance with you so can fall in love with the Italian. Little did he know, you were already in love with him.
The next morning, Antonio barged into your room and sat on your bed waiting for you to sit up. Once you did, he started telling you about a Spanish festival that was coming to the town square. Your eyes widened in surprise, and you cheered for the day it will come. Antonio asked you if you knew the Spanish dances that you learned when you were small, and you said yes. As a local, you had to know!
Days past and Lovino was still distant from you. Every time you would try to talk to him or encounter him, he would retaliate by leaving the room you were in. You felt hurt that he hated you, but what were you going to do? You couldn't seduce him into loving you! Even if you tried, you thought you would not succeed. The night of the festival had come and you still felt this way. You even asked Antonio, if you could stay at his house, but Antonio said that you and a mystery man were going to preform The Fandango. You couldn't refuse so you put on your large (F/C) Spanish dress and went anyway. Once you were there, you felt anxious to see who you were going to dance with, until you felt a hand on your shoulder.
"You look very pretty, bella. Please ease up for me." The male voice told you seductively. You turned around to see Lovino in a tight black shirt, that revealed a good portion of his chest, and tight-ish black pants. Lovino had a face as red as a tomato, and you grew the same hue of color.
"Lovino? Are we dancing with each other tonight?" You asked.
"Si... siamo..." Lovino answered. You both looked at each other embarrassed, until you were both called on. You both started to dance the Fandango.
When it ended you bowed to your audience, and they cheered for an encore. You and Lovino both looked lovingly into each others eyes. Lovino walked over to you and with out hesitation, he kissed you passionately, on the lips. You returned the kiss, as the audience cheered and screamed. After the kiss Lovino went onto his knee and pulled out a ring.
"(Y/N) (M/N) (L/N)? Will you become (Y/N) (M/N) Vargas?" He asked with a light of passion in his eyes.
"Yes." You said as you cried tears of joy.
Requests are open! If anyone has any idea about what and/or who I should write about, let me know!
