28. Garrett

"Hey, guys we were gonna-- OH MY GOD FINALLY," someone says as they walk in. I freeze and break the kiss with Ron. My face turns bright red. I look at the door and see Morgan. She is grinning like a crazy woman.
I look at Ron and he is bright red as well and he looks down at his hands.
"It's not what it looks like," I quickly say.
"Well I am pretty sure I just walked in on you two kiss."
"Please don't tell anyone," I mumble.
"I won't. But oh my god. Finally. It took forever to you guys to do this. Or did you guys just had this the whole time?"
"Morgan, can you please go?"
She nods. "Okay fine. We are going out for dinner soon so if you guys want: we're leaving in 5."
"Okay. We will be there. Now just go."
"Okay. I want to hear all the tea though."
"Yeah, yeah, just go."
She walks out.

I look back at Ron and sigh. He still is bright red but he has a small smile on his lips.
"That's one way to answer the question," he says softly.
I chuckle. "I know I couldn't say it." I stop and realize something. "Wait... That was your first kiss wasn't it?"
He nods. "Yeah..."
"Oh my god I am so sorry. I forgot for a moment. I'm so sorry."
"It's fine. No worries."
"No it's not."
"Garrett, is it. No worries."
"No it is bad. I didn't had to do that you deserved it to be a special moment and not like thi--" I got cut off. It's by Ron kissing me, again. I smile softly and kiss him back.

After a moment I break the kiss and smile. "Okay," I say. "I get it, it's fine."
He laughs. "Should we go to the others?"
I nod. "Yeah. Let's do that."
We both get up and walk towards the door and go towards the others.
We're both grinning like crazy. I can't believe I just did that. I can't believe I kissed him. And I can't believe he kissed me back. And he then kissed me again. I liked him for the longest time now. Even since I met him I knew he was special and I wanted to get to know him more and make sure he was safe and protected.
"Okay," Shane says when we talk in. "Why are you two grinning like that?"
"They kissed," Morgan says.
I blush. "What? No."
"Dude I literally walked in on you two."
"Wait, really? Oh my god," Ryland says. He grins.
I blush even more and see that Ron is blushing as well.
"It's obvious," Shane says.
"Stooop," I say.
"So is it true or not?" Ryland asks.

I look at Ron and he is zoned out with a small smile on his face. He looks so adorable.
"Ron," Morgan says.
He snaps out of his thoughts and looks around. "Huh?"
She chuckles. "What we're you thinking about?"
"Nothing," he says softly.
"That didn't look like nothing."
He blushes and looks at me. I look back at him.
"Okay. Wait. So is it true or not?" Ryland asks again. I look at him and shrug.
"Yes," Morgan says. "I still want the tea."
"Morgan!"
"C'mon it's just too obvious."
"Thanks for 'not telling anyone'," I say salty.
"Wait so it is true?! Oh my god!" Ryland asks.
I nod weakly.
"Wait so are you two a thing now?"
I shrug. I look at Ron and he looks at me. After a while he shrugs as well.

"You two like one another, though," Shane says. "Both if you guys admitted that to me."
I look at Ron, hoping to catch his eye but he looks at Shane.
I try to read him but it's hard. He is frowning slightly with a small smile creeping on his lips. His hand are in the pocket of his hoodie and his cheeks are rosey. His eyes look happy but also confused.
"But whatever, it's up to you two. You can talk about that later," Shane says. "I just had to put that information out there. You two can decide what to do with it."
