32. Garrett

"Ron!" I yell as I jump on him.
He screams and drops his phone. But when he realizes it's me, he wraps his arms around me. "Hello to you, too. What are you doing? And who let you in?"
"Andrew, he's here," I say and I smile at him. "And I missed you so I went to visited you."
"And?" He asks.
"I came up with this idea." I sit up straight so he has more space on the couch. "We've been together for 2 months, right?"
"Right?" He is still confused.
"What if we can go on a double double date. We will look for another date for Morgan, we go with Ryland and Shane and then it's you and me. And we all go out for dinner and it will be a lot of fun. We can host it in my house."
He chuckles. "You know how the 'looking for a date for Morgan' thing worked out last time?"
"We'll, we won't let it happen this time!"
He rolls his eyes but agrees. I smile and kiss him for a brief moment. "It will be so much fun!" I say excitedly.

"I think I'm ready, by the way," he says.
"Ready for what?" I ask.
"To be public." He smiles. "But if you're not ready that's totally fine. It's just that so many fans have been suspicious about it."
"I'm ready," I say. "How do you want to post it?"
"Let's keep it low key," he says. "I can post a picture of us four and make the caption something like 'I love my best friend and my boyfriend' and I @ you."
"That's good. Let's do that," I say. "I can post like 'everyone wanted us to date so here we go I guess'."
He laughs. "That's so funny."
"Is it?"
"Yeah I like it."
"Should we post it at the same time?"
He thinks. "I guess?"

We both pick out a photo and type out a caption. He goes for:
'Shout out to the people who gave me so much happiness and helped me out the most 💕 I love my best friend and my boyfriend @garrett_watts'
I type out a caption as well:
'This idiot jumped on my back while we were jokingly taking photos. We look cute as hell, though. But then you go to the next picture and it's just us falling. Anyways what I wanted to say is: we heard everyone begging us to date so we gave it a shot here we are'
I look at him. "Ready to post?"
He nods. "Yeah I am."
"3... 2... 1... Go."
We post it at the same time.

Within a minute we have some likes. It takes a minute more for people to nice the couple part. 'Wait did they just announce they're a couple? I'm shook,' is one of the first I read.
'omg omg omg they really are a couple now? Or is this a prank?' Is another one.
Soon enough most people are talking about it and Morgan, Ryland, Shane, Andrew, and other friends are replying to it.

We both but our phones down after a while. "When will Ryland and Shane be back?" I ask him.
"In an hour," he replies to me. "Why?"
"Just asking. They replied soon to the post."
He nods. "That's true." He rests his head on my shoulder and I keep him close. "Let's watch some YouTube."
"Sure," I say. "When will you post the first video on your channel, by the way?"
"I am almost done with editing."
"Can I see what you have so far?"
He nods and grabs his laptop. He turns it on and looks up the video.

After he played it I smile. "It's really good so far," I tell him.
"You think?" He asks.
I nod. "Yeah. It's amazing."
"Thank you."
"When will you post it?"
"Tomorrow I think. I'm almost done with it."
I smile. "I can't wait to see it once it's done."
"Well you can watch it on the channel."
"Do you have any subscribers yet?"
He nods. "Yeah. Like 75k. That's crazy, right?"
I nod and keeps him close. "That's a lot for just creating a channel and it being mentioned by Morgan, Ryland and I."
"It really is a lot! I can't believe anyone is subbed to it."
