Hae Wong felt his heart split in painful two as his eyes lowered to his Jiminie's marked face and reddened orbs.

He could see the drops of blessed dew that threatened to fall from his angel's mirror of the soul, and which the dancer was trying to blink back.

His eyelashes batted at faster speed than his cute usual.

Hae Wong's stare lowered to his heavenly lips as they wobbled apart - about to let out in speech what his honey's gaze was full of.

But no word came out.

Jimin remained speechless and trembling, still fazed by everything that had just happened.

Hae Wong's eyes flicked back and forth between the dancer's bruised wrists and his marked skin, the scratches on his face and neck his blotched cheeks and swollen lids...

And it hurt him ...

Each sight was like a deep cut slashing at his bleeding heart...

Remorse crushed him instantly.

He felt guilty for not being able to protect his angel correctly.

And maybe – yes, maybe letting those two beasts beat him up had as much been a challenge, as a self-inflected punishment for not taking proper care of his love, for not being there when had needed him.

Had he managed to let it be so, Hae Wong would even had liked it to be harsher on himself.

For now – he would leave his stupidest and incapable self out of these thoughts.

He would not say a word.

He just wanted to be patient and caring.

Just wanted to focus on his honey.

His eyes wavered back to those trembling gorgeous lips and the troubled, pleading look above them.

The next words sounded so hard to let out ...

"H- ... Hae Wong-ah... I- ... I just -... You- ... You- ..."

Jimin could actually not handle it.

Emotions got the best of him before he was able to utter anything sensible.

His shoulders slumped and he looked back down, a hint of distress and panic reaching his beautiful orbs.

"Shhhhhh..." Hae Wong lay a gentle finger on the cushion-like rose buds of his lover's chapped lips.

"Don't say a word for now, honey..."

He held him tighter and rested his chin on top of his angel's crown of hair. "Let me get you out of this awful place first thing." he asserted.

And without further comment, he took the slightest step back.

He slid one arm under his angel's armpits and round his shoulder blades while the other hand snaked under Jimin's knees.

The next second he lifted him off the ground effortlessly.

Jimin gripped at his shirt and he felt his warmth against him.

It felt so comforting, so safe, he could not hold back his sobs, which came out in bursts.

He felt Hae Wong tighten his hold around him wordlessly.

It's all it took for him to finally let himself go.

He wrapped his arms around his prince's neck and he rested his head against his strong, firm chest.

His sobs gradually died little by little in the reassuring tight hold of his prince.

Once inside Hae Wong's Aston Martin, the ride back was quiet.
