"What is it, Jimin-ah?"

Tae Hyung could see it as clearly as if he was in Jimin's heart.

This time it wasn't like all those occurrences when Jimin would be lost in his thoughts, watching his own reflection on the screen of his phone.

He'd be staring at some message, thinking, focused so hard that the whole world disappeared around him.

But that one had destabilized him.

And Tae Hyung could read it on his friend's face like in an open book.

The shock was so obvious that he might as well have shouted out at the sudden blow.

But Jimin remained silent.

Sickeningly silent actually.

But his face...

His face wavered with a chain of terrible, appalling feelings that immediately had his best friend step up to him.

Kim Tae Hyung instantly wrapped his arms around his trembling figure.

After the ugly bafflement that distorted the angel's face, the art student watched some sort of pained mist invade Jimin's previously joyful, pretty eyes.

It was soon followed by doubt.

And what could be interpreted as vacillation.

The dancer was floating in amazement and hurt after a message that definitely held more of a bolt from the blue than just some two-letter reply.

The gentle question remained unanswered.

Even looking at his cute friend's face from a little aside, Kim Tae Hyung saw the glistening drops of holy water that gradually plumped up in Jimin's orbs.

They remained un-shed in his unblinking eyes.

Jimin was stunned.

All his energy was focused on holding all the shattered pieces of himself together.

So much so that he just did not hear Tae's question.

Thus, even though he first didn't want to show him and tried to hide the device from the prying, he soon gave up any form of resistance, soon gave up any form of pretending.

With soft moves, Tae Hyung was easily able to get the cell.

The dancer didn't struggle that much when his usually bubbly friend slowly removed his phone from his shaky hands.

The latter started scrolling the "conversation" that was just opened.

And he regretted it all the very next second.

Now it was Tae's jaw that dropped and his own fingers that trembled – though for other reasons.

First, his worried eyes widened and kept on going back and forth between the smartphone screen and his best friend's frozen face.

But after he had taken the bombshell, Tae's expression transformed into a nasty, angry frown.

The more he scrolled up the series of messages, the angrier he got.

With the flat of his hand, after each text, he kept on wiping his face, his eyes, his brow in exasperation.

Up and down, his other hand repeatedly held the cell up to his hard stare then dropped down.

His lips wrung and twitched in constant disgust.
