Jimin could hardly believe it.
How easy things were going.
Everything was simple and exciting at the same time.
And truth be told, Jimin actually didn't care to get any reason for it.
But he couldn't even explain why or how.
For even though there were common points between dancing and modeling, he found the latter really different from the former.
He felt like ... like he cheated and stole that money from the agency?
He was so unused to getting a wage without putting in an insane amount of work, and strain, and dedication.
Not to mention the pain.
Yes... Pain... That was another positive side effect of the job...
Pain was still there.
But it gradually seemed like a more and more distant memory, as days went by.
Maybe some of this new (and did he have to say pleasant) situation might also have been due to Mr Jeon's... 'presence' around him.
Did he see Jimin as a promising new recruit?
Ever since that special day, he had been really kind with Jimin
And also teasing.
Even a little (ok maybe really) flirty sometimes...
The former dancer wasn't even sure where all of this was going to, but it was so entertaining and thrilling.
And it was boosting his self-confidence.
So he did not hesitate long before he decided he would indulge in the distraction.
Even when 'Jungkook' had asked him out.
Not the 'OUT' out, it was just another date in a cafe – not the 'DATE' date, but still, Jimin felt a little flattered.
So here was Jimin, waiting in the lobby for the (quite late) CEO.
When Mr Jeon finally emerged from one of the rooms, he was flanked by two females.
One Jimin had seen several times at the agency, and recognized as the pencil skirt lady from his first photo shoot.
The other one, with shorter hair and more casual, though trendy clothes, he had no idea of who she was.
But from the way they were bustling after him, trying to keep up with the tall male's fast pace while furiously typing and writing down every word he mouthed at them on their tablet and notepad, they looked like secretaries or assistants.
Jimin quietly watched the bunch striding up to him, expecting his theories to be confirmed by their next words.
But as soon as they reached him, the head fell silent and his eyes detached from them to frown at Jimin.
What was uttered next was unfortunately no unfamiliar sentence to him.
"I'm sorry, I have a super busy schedule today and I still have quite a number of files to take care of ..."
Jimin lowered his gaze to hide his disappointment.
He should have known.
Of course, Mr. Jeon would have been fully occupied and wouldn't be able to spare some of his overly precious time for a mere new, untalented employee...
"Of course... I understand," Jimin half whispered; trying to erase any form of sad bitterness in his tone.
He heard the CEO dismiss the two females, so with his head still down, he asked in a shy, nearly croaky voice "How much time do you have?"
