He knew it would have been coming.
As his phone screen lit up on the table, his eyes darted to check on the caller's ID.
He frowned as the digits of the familiar number were displayed again.
He turned his face back into his brightest smile as he resumed his hand shaking.
"Congratulations, Mr Lee! All my best wishes!" the man grinned broadly.
"Thank you very much, Ambassador Choi!" he smiled back with his signature smile.
"Any idea of a date?" the said Choi asked.
Hae Wong's phone rand again before he could reply.
Same number.
He let out an embarrassed chuckle.
"I'm not sure exactly. You'd have to ask my wife!" he laughed it off.
More rings.
"I'm sorry - Will you excuse me?" he apologized as a notification for another voice mail message popped up.
He stepped out of the brightly-lit, crowded room, going past the table fulls of beautifully wrapped gifts in pastel colors, huge bows standing out among the magnificent bunches of flowers, the smaller jewelry packets, and other costly presents.
Smiling to secretaries and other staff members, nodding respectfully to CEO's, bowing lower to VIP's, he made his way towards the door, then to an empty private salon.
Once he had made sure no one was around, whether in or out, he locked the door.
While pacing up and down the room, he tapped the icon to dial the preset number.
"This isn't exactly a good time," he bluntly and coldly started as soon as the call was through.
"I found him, Sir," the familiar voice announced.
Hae Wong immediately tensed while his moves came to a halt.
His eyes narrowed.
"Where is he?" he asked, after a sigh, with a frown and a slight tinge of exasperation in his voice.
"Same night club, Sir," he answered in a factual tone.
"Are you there?" he wondered aloud.
"Yes, Sir," he confirmed obediently.
