------------

Jimin rose from the sofa where he had fallen asleep on once again, waiting for his man to come back home to him, until early morning again.

Even though their relationship now seemed back to normal, they still rarely met.

And their encounters kept on getting shorter and shorter.

They spent so little time together, Jimin had started to think their being a couple might be meaningless...

He looked at the empty lobby and sadness reached his eyes as his ears caught the next sounds.

After the soft click of the lock on the door, and the muffled strained steps on the carpeted floor, he heard Hae Wong get into the bedroom.

After some shuffling of the sheets, he heard him lay down in bed...

He repressed the sad strain on the corners of his mouth as he gradually, slowly walked closer in silent steps ...

Soon, Hae Wong's breathing was even and deep....

Jimin's heart sunk low...

Already sleeping soundly...

Not looking for him.

Despite the empty bed.

Not longing for him, or missing him whatsoever....

His plan had failed.

Waiting for Hae Wong to come to him and get him.

Or ask for him.

Or even in the slightest way, somehow, show that he needed him – it all had been in vain...

He felt a sharp needle of pain pin his heart against his ribs, where it throbbed with hurt.

Once again...

Once again Jimin's impression that he made no difference to his love hit him hard...

In spite of his tingling eyes, he soundlessly made his way to what was supposed to be their love-nest.

As he finally got into bed too, eyes wet with bitter disappointment, he longed even more for a gentle touch from his partner.

He pressed himself against his loved-one's side and, near his part of the mattress, found his stretched powerful arm.

He grabbed it and got as close as possible, trying to breathe in deeply.

But it actually turned out to be only a sour, painful hug...

While he wrapped himself as fully as he could around his sweetheart's arm, trying to get comfort, it all felt wrong and deceiving.

He wanted to feel protected.

Safe.

Wrapped up in his man's warm embrace.

He NEEDED to feel wanted...

But as he was trying to feel this warmth, holding on tightly to his love's arm, the cold around his own free arms and legs hit harder.
