Fluffy Furs

I sat on my bed. Nikkou was currently locked in the dungeon of Jorrvaskr. It had been unused until this point. Still, Athis was on guard.

I was still in the Welp Room. It's been through a lot. I was offered the chance for a new room but I wanted to stay here. I had the small window open for a bit and it had let cold air in. I closed the window and snuggled under my elk fur.

I shivered in my thin clothes I had on. After a few minutes a knock was heard at my door. "Come in!" I tell, sitting up a bit. Farkas then precedes to enter my room with a blanket of bear pelts. He wore brown pants and a green shirt under his bear fur cloak.

"It was getting cold and I found some blankets in the storage," He said calmly. "Gimme!" I say to him. He laughed and throws the bear furs on me. I put them over me and he begins to walk out. "No! You stay too!" I tell him, sitting up.

"Really?" He asked smoothly. "Yes. That's an order." I stated. "Are you telling the beta what to do, young lady?" He asks, walking over to my bed and put a hand on either side of my head. I look down, flustered.

He takes his left hand and trails it down my jawline until he holds my chin. He tilts my head to face him. A large smirk lay on his face. He leans in and we lock lips. He deepens the kiss and I wrap my arms around his neck. We pull away for air and he lays his forehead on mine.

He stands up again. I pat the bed next to me. He sighs and sits down, chuckling a bit. I tackle him and pull his head down into my lap. He smiles up at me and I peck his cheek. "Sit." I say. He leans up and sits back. I smirk before saying, "Lay down." He puts his hands behind his head before laying back, stretching out his legs. "Good boy," I smile to him. He laughs as I pet his hair.

I lift his head up and scoot behind him. I lay his head in my lap. "Now what?" He asks. "Can I braid your hair?" I ask. He raises a brow at my words and rolls his eyes. "Go ahead," he sighed. I smile and begin to braid a small strand of his hair. After I finish I give up. By now his eyes were closed.

I lift his head as he groans. I scoot over to the wall and lay down beside him, under the fur. He slips under the fur and I turn to face him. He puts an arm over me and pulls my into his chest. I snuggle close and take in his scent.

He put his hand on my back and puts his chin on my head. I shiver again and he pulls the blanket up to my chin. I snuggle closer and clutch to his shirt. His warmth radiates off him and onto me. I intertwine my legs with his and close my eyes with a sigh.

"I find it funny," he chuckled a bit. "Even after all that's happened or is going on, you still keep calm." I look up at him. His baby blue eyes seem to be distressed. "You want to know why?" I ask. "It's because after everything that happens, I know you'll be there. I felt empty when I almost lost you. The day I thought you were gone I knew that I would chose you. I love you, and I hope that you'll love me too." His gaze softens as I finish.

"You know I'll do anything to keep you safe. Even if you'd hate me for it, I'd do anything to protect you." He says softly. "What's wrong?" I ask sternly. "What do you mean?" He asks. "I can tell something's wrong."

He sighs, "I don't think I could handle losing you. Ever time you leave on a mission that I can't go on, I fear you won't come back. Vle is still out there and the Silver Hand know where you are. What happens if they find you and I can't reach you in time?" I shake my head, "You'll never lose me."

"Promise?" He asks quietly. I smile up at him, "Promise." We lay close together, enjoying each other's company. I could stay in his arms forever. I close my eyes and listen to the rhythm of his heart beating.

Shortly after I hear Farkas's breathing slaw and calm down. I realised he's asleep and I relax.

But... Our time is soon interrupted. "Hey it's-" Ria started, "Dinner... I'll come back later!" She said quickly. I giggle and she laughes a bit. "Shh! He's asleep!" I whisper harshly. She nods and leaves.

I snuggle close to his sleeping form again and close my eyes. I sigh and open them. I lean up and peck his lips before settling back into my spot. I close my eyes again and let myself slip into sleep.
