"Mommy said we could sleep in here!" Ivory barked. "The plan has fallen into action!" Thomas yipped. Aspen just giggled as her brothers tackle each other. "Shh! You have to be quiet!" I tell them. "Lay down. I'll wake you up when it's midnight." I tell them. "Okay, Aunt Y/n!" Ivory yipped. The three curled up together on my bed. I roll my eyes and lay on my back.
"You ready?" Urgrad asks, looking at Vle and I. We nod. "Let's go then! Alzi left the pie on the counter! Let's go!" Urgrad says. "Yes sir!" We say in unison and bolt out from under the table. Vle grabs the pie and we hide under the table again. We giggle amongst ourselves before we run out of the dining hall. We climb our tree, handing the pie back and forth as we climbed.
Eventually we sat at the top. We laughed to each other before pulling spoons from our bag of snacks. "We are gonna be in so much trouble..." I laugh. "They won't know it's us!" Vle laughs. "We're the only kids here!" Urgrad retorts, laughing. As the two bicker, I begin to eat spoon fulls of the cherry pie. The two boys notice and begin to dig in as well. We finish the pie and Urgrad balls up the foil container and he hands it to Vle. Vle clutches the ball before pulling his arm back. He launches the ball into the woods.
We laugh together again. "You guys are awesome!" I giggle. They tackle me in a hug. "We will forever be the mischievous three!" Vle chants. Urgrad and I join in. "Shut your yapping!" The guard yells at us. "You'll alert all the bandits to us!"
I sneer before saying, "let's go to bed..." I start to descend the tree. "We can sleep up here." Urgrad suggests. "Yeah!" Vle seconds. I sigh and climb up again. Vle crawls to the other branch, a bit smaller than the one we're on, and lays against the trunk. Urgrad leans against the trunk and pats his lap. I roll my eyes and curl up in his lap.
As I snap back to reality, the pups are lightly snoring. I wipe my face again. Tears. "Why do I keep getting these flash backs!?" I ask myself. I sigh and grab a book to read.
At about midnight I put my book down. I carefully nudged the pups awake. Ivory sat up, alert. "Let's go!" He said with a slight lisp. The four of us sneak out of the room, quietly giggling. We make our way up the stairs.
"Damnit Athis! Not again!" Vilkas laughed a bit. "I fold!" Farkas laughs. I hear Athis laugh and the sound of metal sliding against wood. "Another round, lads?" Athis offer's. "I'll deal." Farkas speaks up. They were playing a card game. I look at the pups. "Why aren't they asleep?" Thomas asked. I shrugged. "It's too late to go back now! Let's just sneak around them!" Ivory states. "You're that Alpha," Aspen rolls her eyes.
Ivory lowers himself to the ground and pads forward slowly. Thomas follows and Aspen falls in line. They make I to a bench and look at me expectantly. I glance at the three boys before my gaze meets the pups'. I quickly shift into my wolf and lean down into a crawling position. I quietly make my way to their hiding spot.
