-Y/n-
I sat in the Mead Hall talking with Ria about the camp. From the moment we got back, Farkas went to talk with Vilkas. Vilkas wasn't happy we destroyed the camp, but glad we saved the captured werewolves. Carg hadn't been with us in the way back. I hope he comes to see us. I was serious about telling him he could come back.
The the question came up. "How did you two manage to be captured?" Vilkas asked, a confused and serious tone rang in his voice. I glanced at Njada. "No point in lying." I say with a shrug.
"When we made it to the garden, two Bloodfrost wolves had a man held captive. We followed them to camp and they threw him down in front of... The 'Alpha'." I began to explain, holding up finger quotes.
"He denied to call her Alpha and she called another wolf over. He was told to... Cut out the man's tongue..." I shivered, remembering the terrified look on the man's face. "The man began to beg to her. She let him keep his tongue but she was going to kill him! I-I couldn't let him die!" I tried to not raise my voice. I looked down.
"We walked around to the hut he was taken to..." Njada spoke up. "Y/n snuck up to the tent and told him to run. She opened the flap and he ran. Y/n tried to follow and was caught by a man." I began to shift uneasily in my seat. Farkas put a hand on my leg to comfort me.
"He wanted to help her but I told him to run. I led him away and went back for Y/n. The guy began to threaten her and I leapt into action. He attacked me and threw me against the fence. I busted my head and passed out after." Njada finished.
"What happened inside the camp?" Vilkas asked. "The... The man took us to the Alpha. She wanted us for bait and wanted us alive." My mind flashed to an image of Rou. Her scared face as the man carried me away. "She told some to take Njada to get stitched up... The man was told to bring me to the dungeon." I finished. Vilkas seemed satisfied with my answer.
"They still are after us?" Vilkas lifted an eyebrow. "That's enough to know. Thanks you two. I'm glad you're safe." Vilkas smiled at bit before standing. With a flick of his hand he walked down the stairs. "I'm going to go talk to Lori. Njada can you come with me?" I speak up. She nods and we make our way downstairs.
I lightly knock on the door. "Come in!" Lori's gentle voice calls from the other side of the door. I open the door and slip in. Njada enters and leaves the door cracked. "Oh! Hello! I heard about what happened, are you two okay?" Lori glances over us.
"My stitches have been hurting. This you can redo them?" Njada asks. "Of course!" Lori chirps. "Sit, sit!" She pays the bed and Njada walks over to sit in the bed. Lori ran to collect things and walked over.
"Drink this. It'll numb the pain long enough for me to work on it." Lori hands Njada a small blue bottle. Njada drinks it and sets the body down. I can see her relax fully. A smile slips over her lips. She closes her eyes and sighs.
"Good, now lay back." Lori says. Njada lays back and Lori grabs scissors, metal wire, a needle, and tweezers. She took the stitches from her head and used a wet cloth to clean it. She quickly stitched her back up.
After she was done she put a patch over it. Njada sat up and I walked to sit beside her. "Lori, how have you been?" I ask. "Oh sweety, I've been wonderful! Besides worrying about you two! You girls are the nicest here. And the Ria girl." Lori giggles a bit. The old woman was always so happy about everything.
"I also went to the market and bought you some more cherries! I hid them in here so the others don't find them!" Lori smiled at me and I returned it. "How's your daughter?" I ask. She had been talking about how her daughter joined the Stormcloaks to fight in the war.
