I always have my end chapters shorter then the regular chapters.
-Farkas-
Her breathing shallows until it comes to a stop. She's gone. My Y/n is gone. I curl around her small, dead body. "I'm sorry I couldn't save you..." Was all I could mutter. She's gone, she's really gone.
Her small body shifts to human. Her e/c eyes are now lifeless. I shift back and close her eyes. I quickly pull her body into my arms.
Then I loose it. Tears fall from my cheeks onto hers. I feel lost, scared, alone...
"Y/n..." Arlilo walks up and puts his nose to her shoulder. "Y/n..." Snowy came and did the same. "She saved us when nobody would..." Snowy mumbles.
"Y/n... She... She saved me. Twice." Ali is crying as well. Rashi walks over and wraps her in a hug. "The Birch-Falls pack need to know of this.
"Brother..." Vilkas puts his hand on my shoulder. "You did the best you could..." He tells me. "Let's take her back to Whiterun. She deserves a proper burial... Let's get going." He says.
I carry her in my arms through the woods. I see the small town atop The hill and we walk over.
The gates open and we walk in. Gasps are heard and occasional, "by the gods..." We make it to Jorrvaskr.
"Did you find!... Y/n..." Aspen's mood dropped. "No, no, no!" Her eyes dulled. Ivory and Thomas ran to comfort their sister. Micha runs to hug Ali, as Lori rushes over.
"Y/n..." Lori brushed a strand of hair from Y/n's face. "Bring her to the Skyforge. Well have the ceremony there. She deserves a warriors burial."
-Y/n-
My body was carried by Farkas. That's it. I was dead. Gone. Washed away. But not forgotten.
"Y/n..." A deep voice says behind me. I turn and see a Hircine Werewolf. No... It's Hircine. "Hircine." I dip my head.
"I give you a choice. You may travel to Sovngarde for eternal rest... Or join me in my hunt with your pack..."
"My pack." I responded without hesitation. "Very well..." As he says this a familiar face greets me. "Skjor!" I rush over and hug the male. "That's from Aela." I giggle.
"You've done well, Pup." He ruffles my hair. "Ive been watching over the Companions. And you... You've done more than anyone else. Be proud. And join me in my hunt. It would be an honor." I nod. "Let's go." He shifts to his gray wolf and I follow.
My bones feel new and my body feels young. I feel free. I am free.
I run. Run and I don't run out of breath. This is the best I can feel. I catch up to Skjor and tilt my head back to howl while running. He howls as well, laughing once he finished.
We are stopping in our tracks by a small pup and Hircine. She looks like Farkas, just small. "Y/n... This is your child." I stop in my tracks. "I was pregnant?!" I ask. He dips his head. "Hi Mommy." He smiles.
"This is the child of you and Farkas." Farkas and I would've had a child together. Now she's here. She died to early. "She's here now. She can join us." Skjor says, turning to me.
I nod in agreement. The small pup was fairly large, a bit older than Aspen by the looks. "Ready to feel free?" I ask. She nods.
-Farkas-
Her body was cremated, like Kodlak's was. We all had shifted and howled, Micha, Ali, and Snowy's pups joined us. The song of the pack filled the quiet air.
She's really gone. "Farkas... Get some sleep, you look dead." Vilkas says. "I... Okay." I tell him. I needed sleep. I needed to work this out. She's really gone.
I go to her room and take my bear cloak. It smells of her. I look at the rose on her desk. It wilted. Our bond is broken by the death of one.
I head to my room and curl up to sleep. I eventually am consumed by the darkness of sleep.
The forest. I look at my paws, excited. Do I get to see Y/n one last time? "Y/n!" I call out. I hear a rustle and Y/n appears, a small pup beside her. "Who's that?" I ask. "Our child." She tells me. I take the chance to see their eyes are solid white. They're both dead.
"Y/n..." I walk over and sit in front of them. "Farkas. Don't mourn me. This may be the last time we'll talk for a while but know this... I'll always watch over you. I love you." She tells me. I feel relieved. "I love you too." I nuzzle her neck and pull back.
"I'm sending you back now. Goodbye my love." I feel my paws go ice cold and see myself disappearing. "Goodbye." Is all I say before I wake up.
