Promise?

Sorry for the slow updates as of recently! I'm trying to progress the story without rushing it into one chapter so I've been rereading each chapter before I publish it to look at the details and add some I miss. Don't forget to leave suggestions to the story! I will gladly listen!

I was currently sitting on my bed, wide awake. Carg quickly fell asleep, but I had a hard time closing my eyes. I glance at the two bottles on the desk.

I grab and take a swig of the medium sized one. Shortly after I felt myself relax. Something still felt wrong. I shook my head and stood up. I opened the door and stepped into the hall.

I carefully made my way up stairs and to the back door. I walked outside, the darks sky was filled with millions of stars amd the moon shone brightly overhead. I smiled to myself before gathering some wood to make a fire.

I held my palms together and casted a small ball of fire. The only spell that Silver Hand were allowed to use. I tossed the ball into the wood and watched it burn. I then sat down and stared at the fire. Soon my eyes became heavy.

I open my eyes in Rou's forest. I sat down and waited for her to arrive. Soon, two wolves came from the bushes. "Y/n! You're okay!" Rou ran over to nuzzle me. I nuzzled back, "So are you." The other wolf walks over, something oddly familiar about it. "You remember Takar. He came to test the theory if three people can enter the dream realm at one time.

My mind goes back to Sovngarde with Urgrad. "You went to Sovngarde!? How!" Rou's voice was full of confusion. "I don't know myself..." I looked down at my paws. "Since I'm here and this worked, I need to tell you something important!" Rou suddenly became desperate. "Once again you cannot tell your pack." Takar spoke up this time. I dip my head in his direction.

"Our leader teamed up with the Silver Hand." Rou sighed, her tail begining to sway wildly. Takar stood beside her and nuzzled her neck. I stood frozen. "S-Silver Hand? That can't be right!" I jump, taken aback. "I'm sorry Y/n... I'll try to keep you up to date with it but for now we must leave." Takar's gentle voice spoke calmly. I sigh and look down to see my paws turning to air. I close my eyes and let myself drift away.

I wake up when my fire is just ash and embers. The sun had his risen over the trees. "Silver Hand and Werewolves?" I ask aloud. "What?" Arlilo asks, walking up behind me. "Nothing... I'm just shocked we have to deal with Silver Hand and now other Werewolves. This is crazy."

"Oh. Did you sleep out here?" He asks. "Sort of." I tilt my head to the side. He hummed in response before sitting down. "Vilkas is awake. The shop keeper said something about a skeever. He also wanted me to ask of you wanted to go with Aela to check on the Dark Brotherhood." Arlilo was moving his head to look around as he spoke.

"I'll go." I stand up, stretching. "Come inside," I scratch his head and walk for the door. Arlilo slips inside and I follow. Aela is talking with Vilkas. "Are you coming with me?" Aela asks hopefully. I smile and nod before looking around.

Farkas and Carg are taking about something and Carg keeps changing his nails to claws, trying to teach Farkas. Farkas keeps trying but doesn't succeed. Carg puts a hand on his shoulder and they go back to talking.

I make my way downstairs and slid on some light armour, excluding the helm. I take my w/c and grab my bag before walking upstairs. I slip out the door and Aela follows.

"No goodbye?" She smirks. "We'll be quick." I shrug and begin to walk. My beg felt a bit heavy, mainly because I put the small potion and some apples in it.

We go to the stables and I see Ysgramore. "He made it back." I smile. I pet the creature before my eyes land on a pale mare. "Take her and bring her back. She's a new horse so I won't make you pay. Her name is Honey, bye the way." The keeper smiles and gets a saddle. The mare was fairly large and could hold Aela and I. He saddles the horse and hands over the reigns. "Good luck!" He smiles to us as we mount. I grab the reigns and mount as Aela gets on behind me. I push into her sides and she starts forward.
