I sat on my bed. I was the only one awake. The lady came back and took the now dark red liquid from my wounds. She replaced the bandages after wiping my wounds down.

I glanced around at everyone. Its was around midnight. Arlilo woke up and was crying in pain. I felt bad there was nothing I could do. His breathing was real shallow. He calmed down but kept whining. He put his head on my lap.

"Shh, shh.... Calm down. It's okay. You're my big, strong boy. Okay? You're doing fine... Don't die on me Arlilo. I've lost to many people I care about already." I began to cry. My parents were gone. Urgrad was gone. Farkas is probably gonna die. If Arlilo dies... No. He isn't gonna die.

"Arlilo. You are not gonna die on me. Okay?" I say. I see a look of peace return to his eyes. "Fight it, fight it Arlilo!" I cry out quietly. His breathing speeds up a bit. "Stay awake okay? I don't care how tired you get. Stay. Awake." He nodded. "Good boy. You're my good, strong boy," I smiled.

Ria woke up shortly after. She was weak. I walked over to her. "I'm so sorry..." I say to her. "It's not your fault..." "Yes, it is." "Don't beat yourself up. I chose to do what I did..." "Ria-" "I chose to attack him. I chose to defend my pack." I smiled and rubbed her head. Even though she wasn't a wolf right now she smiled.

I walked over to Farkas. I put my hand on the side of his scratched up face. His breathing was shallow as Arlilo's was.

"If you die I will never forgive myself. You were so brave. You fought through it. We killed Urgrad. He deserved it. I did love him. Not anymore. I feel bad he's gone but I love you. Not him. Not my wolves. You. I'd fight for you. I'd kill for you if you were in danger. I'd do anything for you. Like I said I'd fight for you. Now I need you to fight for me. Fight more than you have before. I need you to make it. I need you. I love you, Farkas. Fight... Fight. Fight. Fight. Okay?"

I closed my eyes and kept my hand on his face. I felt a hand fall atop mine. I open my eyes. Farkas lifted his hand to mine. He slowly opened his eyes. "F-Farkas?!" He smiled. I dove down and engulfed his cold figure into a hug. He winced. "Sorry!" I pull back quickly. He sat up and hugged me. I hugged back. We pulled away and kissed. When we pulled away from the kiss, I kissed his face everywhere as he laughed. "You're alive..." I say. "You are too." We smiled at each other. I ran over to Vilkas.

I shook him awake. "What is it, Y/n?" He asks, scared. "Farkas is awake!" Vilkas jolts up before the end of my sentence. He runs over to Farkas.

"Brother," Farkas says. "I-I... Oh gods, you're alive!" Vilkas says before embracing him brother. The hug before pulling away. Vilkas looks to be crying. I smile. "As much as it may seem I hate you. I realize, if you were to die, I would be incomplete... I need you, brother. We work as a team... Which is why I ask you to be beta of the Companions." Farkas looks shocked by his brothers words. "That is- when you're strong enough..." Vilkas said. Farkas chuckled before stating, "It would be an honor, brother."

I smiled. I never had any siblings, but I feel that we wouldn't have as strong of a connection as these two. Vilkas sat on the edge of his bed and they began to talk. I glanced over and Ozul was awake. He was talking with Arlilo. Snowy was curled around her pups. She was awake and listening to the two.

Ria was awake and Njada walked over. Athis was awake and kept to himself. Aela was awake now and was sitting quietly on her bed. I felt bad. Farkas was awake and the new beta, while Skjor was dead. I walked over to her and put a hand on her back.

"Don't beat yourself up... Okay? Skjor is on his endless hunt with Hircine." She smiled. I stood up. We are gonna be okay.

The companions are recovering quickly. They don't know my pack has been watching them. That's good.
