My insomnia is kicking in!!!! I didn't sleep last night and I don't think I'm going to sleep tonight.

-Y/n-

I was curled up in the cage. The man soon left and only the Hircine Werewolf and I were in the room. The vicious grows of the beast didn't ease my pain or fear.

Soon, Njada was thrown in the small cage with me. She had shifted back and the wound on her forehead stitched up. I stayed curled up until she began to stir.

She slowly lifted herself up. "Ugh... My head." She groaned. I guess she say me because a terrified gasp left her lips. "Y/n!" She put her arms around my in a hug. I began to cry as she repeatedly said, "I'm sorry..."

She began to brush her hand over my hair and wrap her arms around me. "It'll be okay... It'll be okay... It'll be okay..." She said. It sounded as she was convincing herself more than me.

I weakly hugged back. I felt a small pain run down my arm... Twice. A wave of hope flushed over me. "They're gonna come for us..." I whisper softly. Njada hugs me tighter. The pain shot through me again. I flinch back again.

We pull apart and I curl up on my side again. "Oh, Y/n... What did he do to you..." Njada asks. I curl my arms around me, trying to warm up. "That man will pay..." The Hircine Werewolf finally spoke. "Why did you turn into a Hircine Werewolf?" I ask softly. "Why aren't you scared of me?" It retorts.

"My mate has turned like that, more than once. He always comes back." I tell it. "He isn't savage?" It asks. I shake my head no. "They killed my mate." It spoke up. "He came to save me. They killed him. I tried to save him but I shifted to this and they still overpowered me..." It trailed off. "I'm so sorry..." Njada said.

"I... I'm going to try to shift back... This form has drained my energy for too long..." It growled. I heard grunts and growls as it turned into a man. The thin man was sickly pale. He had long silver hair that fell over his face. He was quite young. He gaged a bit before throwing up. It was pure acid. After a few gags he fell back, panting.

"I... I..." He tried to say something. "Don't talk. It doesn't end well. Fa- My mate couldn't talk for a few minutes after he shifts back. Be glad you aren't savage..." I tell him. "They killed him." Was all he said. "He's dead, my mates dead." The man said, a whine coming to his voice.

"What's your name?" Njada asks. "C-Cargan. Everyone calls me Carg..." He stutters. "I'm Njada. This is Y/n." Njada said softly, pointing to me. "What was his name?" Njada asks. "Axle." He says sadly. "Don't be sad. Axle has joined his endless hunt with Hircine. All his pain is gone." Njada tries to comfort him.

"Thank you... Njada." Carg says softly. Njada smiles. "I felt the pain of his death. I felt the pain as they dug their claws into his chest, and ate his heart. He loved up until the ripped it out. At that moment the pain went away. A wave of pure sadness flashed over me. He deserves to be up there. He's been through so much..." Carg was crying now. Soft sniffing could be heard.

"I-If we escape. Do you want to come with us?" I ask. "R-Really?!" He asks hopefully. "Of course." I smile. He grins back. "Thank you Y/n! Thank you!" He barks. "Shut it, dogs!" A guard yells. I hear Njada growl. "We should get some sleep." Njada suggests, yawning.

I curl back into the fetal position and try to get sleep. Eventually my eyes got heavy and they close.

Hue and Athis had shifted and we were running through the woods toward Solitude. Hue was growling viciously, Athis was focused on the forest ahead. I was fighting my Hircine Werewolf. It wanted to take over. "Let me take this one..." The voice growled. 'I don't have enough control over myself.' I kept saying.
