My screams fill the hospital in the bunker, labour pains wracking my body every time I screamed or even breathed. The pain was too intense.

'HIKARI!' I yelled to him, 'GET HERE NOW!'

He stumbled in, a terrified expression crossing his face.

'Holy shi-,' he said about an hour later.

I looked at the doctor who was holding a baby girl, one that looked exactly like Hikari.

I took the baby from the nurse and looked at her, noting every last detail of her face. From the way her cheekbones curved to the tiny horns sprouting from her head. She was, in every way possible, a beauty.

'She's beautiful,' I whispered.

She opened her eyes and I noticed they were purple, just like mine.

I sensed Hikari standing over me and looked up at him, smiling. She was our kid, and I weren't going to let anyone lay a finger on her.

'What shall we call her?' I asked him.

'How about... Sandā?' Hikari suggested.

I nodded in agreement, knowing it would be the perfect name for someone like Sandā.

I looked around suspiciously, sensing someone who wasn't Hikari staring at me. It felt more vicious than his gentle looks.

I looked at Hikari who had turned his head away, obviously having felt eyes bore into him as well.

I shrugged it off as a passing feeling, I had felt Sandā watching me curiously. But it didn't feel that way. Like I said it felt vicious, malicious, even. Something didn't quite add up in my mind.

I knew it was time to drop the bombshell about Azurewrath.

'So last night when I was out for a bit...,' I started.

'Hmm?' Hikari said curiously.

'This guy, Azure, said that Azurewrath was still alive,' I told him.

The colour drained from Hikari's face, knowing he was as terrified as me was some comfort to me.

I knew what I had to do to protect the next generation of demons.

I had to go to the underworld and speak to Anri.
