My heart banged against my chest as I kept running away from the wall of flames and up a ladder to the world outside.

I quickly gathered my thoughts and got some air into my lungs. The smoke had filled my lungs and clouded my vision, making it hard to see and breathe.

'We ok?' Kofo asked.

I held a thumb up as I retched to get the smoke out of my lungs.

'What do we have here?' I heard a voice say.

I straightened up and saw Kemono Lethe standing behind me.

'The leader of the Styx clan retching?' She scoffed, 'pathetic!'

'Shut it, Kemono,' Vrosvurs spat.

I pulled my bow and an arrow out of the sheaf on my back and got ready to aim at Kemonos heart.

'Trying to kill me already? When we're not even half way through this game?' Kemono taunted.

I put my bow and arrow down and let her speak.

'Game?' I asked puzzled.

She realised what she had said and quickly covered her mouth.

'Doesn't matter,' Kemono said with a glint in her eye, 'what does matter is that you can't control the hourglass, and I will!'

Hikari stepped in front of her and grabbed the Katana she was holding before she could kill me.

'No,' Hikari said.

Kemono basically melted at his voice. I didn't blame her though, Hikari was pretty damn attractive.

'Why?' Kemono asked him.

'I love her and won't let anyone lay a finger on her,' came the reply.

Kemono put her katana down back into its sheaf and looked appalled by his confident reply.

'What?!' She looked shellshocked, as if this was new news to her. Everyone knew that me and Hikari were dating.

'It's true,' I chipped in.

Kemono gave me a death stare, one that told me how much she wanted to kill me. I shrunk back away and stood with Anri to watch the rest of the show.

'A guy like you couldn't love a girl like her,' she pointed her thumb behind her to signal that she was talking about me.

'Well, I do,' Hikari shrugged, 'if there's a problem then you'll have to answer to me.'

Kemono ran off after that, knowing that he had won the argument.

'Time for another recording,' Crescentia called, 'Ambrosia, I'll have you stood over there,' she pointed to a desolate building.

I went over to the building and got in place.

'People of Hell,' I addressed the civilians,'we are here in Battery City, only a few miles from Torture City, we are one step closer to winning this war. Azurewrath doesn't understand what he's gotten himself into.'

'Ambrosia, it may be a good time to stop?' Crescentia hissed loud enough for me to hear her.

I started walking and kept talking.

'We will not rest until this war is won. We will not stop. See what your king has done! Would you call that being a good king? Well, would you? Because I sure wouldn't.
'Choose carefully who you fight because you never know what might happen.
'Azurewrath is fire and I am ice, someday we will meet again and one of us will win this war,' I finished my speech.

The others stared at me with their mouths open in shock.

'That was... AMAZING!!' Crescentia cried,'so powerful!'

The others nodded in agreement and came to congratulate me on my speech. I knew that Azurewrath was out there watching me, my every move even.

~Azurewrath's P.O.V~
I slammed my fist down on the desk as I watched the rest of Ambrosia's speech.

'KATAKANA!' I yelled to my consultant.

'Yes?' He peeped around the office doorway in uncertainty.

'Send the troops in. The games have begun,' I smirked.

Katakana nodded and went away to get them ready.

The war had begun and Ambrosia had thrown herself in the deep end already.

Tut tut tut, Ambrosia. Get ready for the real war.
