I looked around at the angels advancing ever closer towards us. There were too many of them and too little of us.
'We need to run,' I hissed.
'Where to? We're surrounded!' Hikari exclaimed.
I noticed something about the angels, each time someone shouted they seemed to go further away from us.
'Keep shouting!' I shouted.
'OK!' They all shouted in unison.
I kept a close eye on the angels to make sure my theory was right and that they would back away.
'OK! THEY ARE NEARLY GONE!' I shouted as loud as I could.
The angels backed away quickly after that. I grinned to myself as I watched them all disappear from sight one by one.
'We did it!' I said happily.
'We need to figure out where to go,' Ito pointed out.
I mentally face-palmed myself. I was so caught up in getting the angels away that I hadn't even thought of where to go.
'I say we shoot a video to tell Azurewrath to meet us in Death Chamber City,' I said.
'But didn't Crescentia have the recorder?' Hikari asked.
I pulled the recorder from behind my back.
'I plan ahead,' I grinned.
We all got into position. Ito holding the camera and the others standing around to watch.
'Hello again Hell!' I introduced the video cheerfully,'today I'm here to tell your 'king' to meet me at Death Chamber City soon. If he doesn't then he's a big wuss just like with the angels!'
I played the scene about the angels that I had secretly recorded.
'See that? He's not as big and tough as he seems to be!' I grinned,'if you're not a wuss Azurewrath then you'd meet me in Death Chamber City, wouldn't you?'
I was taunting him at this point but so what?
'His girlfriend is dead and he will be too if I have anything to do with it. I already burnt down a statue of you, I won't hesitate to do something more extreme!'
I signed off by saying one last thing:
'If we burn you burn with us.'
~Azurewrath's P.O.V~
I was getting angrier by the second. She was trying to start a rebellion I could tell. She wants a rebellion?
She can have one.
~Ambrosia's P.O.V~
We had found a place to rest when Hikari had happened to stumble across a TV in one of the rooms.'You're not gonna like this,' Hikari walked over and switched the TV onto the news programme.
The normally bubbly presenter Genmar Marricko was sat with a face set in stone.
'Hello and welcome to tonight's programme,' he started earnestly,'today I have some news about something that could possibly endanger us all.
'Rebellions have been started in Battery, Metal and Death City due to the ruckus Ambrosia Styx and her comrades have started. If you have any information about these rogues please ring in to your local police station.
'I'm Genmar Marricko and you're watching Hell News.'Hikari switched the TV off just as the national anthem played to signal the end of the programme.
'So we started rebellions?' I asked.
Hikari nodded,'apparently so. That's good though!'
I stood up angrily,'how is it?! When we've turned families against each other!'
'Well it shows that people are on our side,' Ito butted in, trying to be helpful.
I stared daggers at him before he turned away and went to look for food.
'Ambrosia, you're more het up than usual,' Kemono said, pulling out a flask of something that smelled of honey,'drink this. It'll make you calmer and sleepy.'
I took the flask and took the cap off to reveal that the smell had changed to the smell of freshly baked cookies.
'Were you thinking about something other than honey?' Kemono asked.
I nodded.
'It's ambrosia,' Hikari breathed,' Kemono where did you find it?'
'I know a place where they used to sell it. Went there every day after school since it's my favourite,' she explained.
I sniffed it again and this time it smelled of freshly baked strudel. I breathed in the smell and took a small sip, instantly knocked sideways by the taste and the feeling of warmth and sleepiness it gave me.
'Like it?' Kemono asked me.
I nodded and took another sip, this time thinking of toasted marshmallows.
After a few more sips I put the lid on the flask and set it down on the table beside me.
I sat in the nearest chair and instantly felt drowsy.
'Get some sleep,' Hikari said gently.
I curled up in a ball in the chair and wandered, dazed, between the land of sleep and consciousness.
I felt a pair of lips kiss my cheek gently and quietly opened an eye to see Hikari sat in front of me, protecting me from harm.
How I longed for those once quiet days where all we did was sit and talk for hours on end about life and sweet nothings.
But all that's changed thanks to Azurewrath.
My resentment towards him was stronger than it had ever been before, washing over me like a tidal wave, taking over the feeling of warmth.
I picked the flask up again and imagined roast chicken in my mind and took a sip, letting the warmth and sleepiness take over my body and replaced the bad thoughts with good ones, sad thoughts with happy thoughts.
'Ambrosia, get some sleep,' Hikari whispered gently.
I tried to get back into the comfy spot I was in before but something stopped me. It felt as though a pair of eyes was watching me wherever I went, watching my every move.
'Does anyone else feel like they're being watched?' My voice now barely audible.
'Ambrosia you've drank too much ambrosia,' Kemono smiled sleepily,'you only take one or two sips at a time.'
I nodded and finally felt my eyes get heavy, pulling me into the land of sleep.
'Night, night, baby girl,' Hikari whispered gently while holding my hands between his.
This was the first time since the beginning that I had felt safe.
And I didn't want that to end.
