The next few hours of our lives were full of monsters and other things from katakanas to anything in between, you can guess what we went through.
The elevator finally stopped on the 12th floor or more commonly known as Purgatory. It was ran by Cerberus, the three headed dog owned by Azurewrath.
'Well, we're here,' Ito murmured as he looked around at the people waiting to be told to go to Heaven or Hell.
'Next!' a receptionist called.
I walked up to the desk.
'Name?' He asked tiredly.
'Ambrosia Styx,' I told him.
He looked up and pressed an alarm on the wall which caused a shrill scream to sound, just like the one when I first arrived at the bunker.
A thud made the whole ground shake as I looked around, confused until I saw what was coming.
Cerberus.
The middle head roared loudly, making my ears ring. It looked like it would eat you in one swallow, let alone chewing you.
'Now what?' I asked.
The others got their weapons at the ready to aim if needed. Which, of course, we would need to aim.
I walked closer to Cerberus and looked at the three heads. One was a doberman, one a German Shepherd and the other a Rottweiler.
All the heads turned to look at me, taking in every inch. The eyes glinted evilly, as if getting ready to bite.
I could feel the red hot breath of the Rottweiler on my breath as it took in every last inch of my body.
'It's ok,' I whispered as I reached out to touch the head.
It shrank back, obviously not used to the touch of a stranger let alone the enemy.
It roared again as I started walking backwards, making sure to keep some distance between me and Cerberus.
I looked around for someone, anyone, who could help but everyone else was cowering underneath the velvet furniture that surrounded the reception.
'Get ready to aim,' I hissed at the others.
They got their weapons at hand as Cerberus thudded towards us, the hatred in his eyes barely disguised.
'AIM!' I yelled as I and the others aimed at Cerberus.
The arrows and bullets dug deep into his fur, causing him to growl in pain.
He fell to the floor having being knocked down by the pain as I walked over and poked the head of the Doberman with my boot which made it growl.
'Woah, ok,' I stepped back sharpish, not wanting to be Cerberus's next meal.
The heads growled once more as one by one they died, the life draining from their eyes.
'He's dead,' I said.
I looked around as the people who were hidden underneath the furniture crawl out from their hiding places and press their bodies against the wall.
'I'm not evil!' I assured them.
They didn't move.
'You monster!' Someone yelled,'what did Cerberus ever do to you?!'
That sent up a chorus of yells and swear words.
I made for the elevator as I was followed by the others.
'We are going to find Azurewrath,' I said as I quickly pressed the button that led to the 13th floor where Azurewrath was.
'Wait what if he's not there?' Ito asked.
I looked at him,'oh, he will if he knows what's good for him.'
They all backed away, leaving me standing in the middle of the elevator.
'Damn, you scary!' Raitoningu commented.
I nodded,'if that's the game Azurewrath wants to play, I'll play along.'
'Oh! Good tactic!' Kemono grinned.
'I know, that's why I decided to do that,' I grinned back.
The ride to the 13th floor seemed longer than the others, as if it was taking days instead of minutes or seconds.
'Why is it taking so long?' I groaned as I smashed my fist against the side.
The doors opened to reveal a hallway decorated with pictures of past rulers of Hell lining the walls.
The busts of evildoers stood on white marble pillars. The floor I walked on was carpeted by expensive looking velvet.
'Fancier than I thought,' I remarked as I wandered aimlessly through the endless seeming corridors.
'It's always been like this,' Yamauba whispered.
'How do you know?' I asked her puzzled.
'I used to work here, remember?'
I nodded as the corridors changed from being fancy to a place with flickering lights instead of cut glass chandeliers.
'We're nearly there. Azurewrath hates anything fancy,' I said.
We stopped short in front of a door that was guarded by an intercom.
I pressed the button and said,'hello?'
'Name?' Came the reply.
I knew I would have to give a fake name to be granted entrance.
'Yamagoti,' I told the voice.
'Ok, opening the door now,' the reply came once more.
And with that, I had been able to get to Azurewrath.
