I stared at Hikari, his face the definition of defiance.
'I'll go in. I'll help like last time,' he said.
I shook my head in disagreement.
'Why not? I'll do anything!' Hikari pleaded.
'If you'll do anything then you'll stay here!' I raised my voice.
The dinner hall fell silent as the beginnings of a faint rumble made the bunker shake. There was something coming. A big something.
'EVERYBODY WE NEED TO RUN NOW!' I yelled.
My message echoed through the hall as everybody got up and ran to the closest exit possible.
The world above.
I climbed the ladder first to see Cerberus, the three headed dog owned by Azurewrath.
Hands were pushing and shoving below me as I struggled to climb down.
A few seconds earlier I was sure there was someone on the middle head of Cerberus who looked like someone familiar.
The colour drained from my face as I realised who it was riding Cerberus.
It was Azurewrath, finally making his appearance after his alleged death.
Every demon in Hell and Battery City knew that seeing Cerberus on the 7th of every month marked an event. A dangerous event.
That event was going to be a war.
'We need to get the weapons ready,' I murmured to Hikari and Crescentia, 'you get the weapons ready and I'll find Anri.'
They nodded their agreement and raced to the armoury room while I was left standing on my own, wondering whether Anri was still on my side or not. Surely she would be?
Right?
I looked around to make sure no one was looking and raced through the portal.
'ANRI!' I yelled as I raced down the corridor to her office.
I banged on the door but there was no answer.
'Ambrosia?' Anri materialised behind me and unlocked the door.
'We need to talk!' I didn't waste any time to sit down.
After a few minutes I had explained everything in great detail.
'So you're telling me Azurewrath was seen on Cerberus just now?' Anri looked to me for confirmation.
I nodded.
'Ok what do we need to do?'
