I followed Anri out of the office building and looked around at the torture going on. What had Azurewrath turned this place into?

We turned a corner and I placed my eyes on the hourglass.

The hourglass was what kept the world running, if it gets corrupted so does the world. It bended at the command of its controller. The controller, whoever it may be, could make it so the world was a good place or a bad place.

Whatever they decided to make the world, they had to consider the people of earth and hell.

'Been a while since I've seen this,' I remarked, touching the swirls on the gilt edging.

'Yup. Missed Hell?' Anri asked.

I nodded and continued looking at the hourglass, wondering if I could still control it after all these years.

I touched the glass and pulled my hand away sharpish as if it was a hot potato. The aura the hourglass seemed evil, as if...

As if...

As if Azurewrath was somehow controlling it.

'Does anything seem... off to you?' I asked Anri.

She shrugged, 'nope. As normal as it's always been.'

I looked at the hourglass in front of me, confused. Why did the aura feel so evil? Was Azurewrath truly controlling it?

'Ambrosia, you look pale. You ok?' Anri asked me, concerned.

I nodded and suddenly my legs started wobbling. I put my hand against the wall of the room for support and gasped for air. It was as if all the memories of the war were flooding back. The dragon, the venom, the water, Azurewrath.

Azurewrath.

It suddenly clicked. He was the cause for the aura of the mirror to be evil. He was the cause for the bunker, he started the war yet he wasn't going to end it.

He was in hiding, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

The capital city of Hell was Battery City, the place known only for its dystopian ways.

I knew what I had to do.

Gather the army again and go to Battery city.

From then on, it was life or death.
