I stepped through the portal to get back to the overworld and looked about. It was still difficult to comprehend what I had to do but it was a life or death situation and if I didn't fix this then the world would be ruined forever.
'AMBROSIA!' Crescentia ran full speed towards me and knocked me to the floor.
'What?' I asked irritably, rubbing my head.
'Did I hurt you?' She said in a concerned tone of voice.
I shook my head. After all she hadn't hurt me that much.
'Anyway, there's news about the underworld.'
I strained to listen,'go on...'
'Well, apparently the leaders of the clans found out about the hourglass,' she said in a rush.
'What?!' I screeched at the news.
Cresentia nodded.
'It's true,' she confirmed.I stared at the tiled ground, trying to take in this new information. How had they found out, was my next question.
'How did they found out?' I asked her.
Crescentia shrugged.
'I have no idea, trust me,' she held her hands up in innocence.I believed her. Even though she could be a klutz at times, you couldn't help but believe everything she said.
'I believe you,' I told her in my best comforting tone.
'Some say that they found out because the room was either left unlocked or broken into. One of the two.'
I nodded, taking in the new information. The war was at its next stage.
The fight to the hourglass. The fight to rule Hell and earth. To win this war.
I needed to win this or the world would become even more of a ghost town than it is now.
'How are we going to win?' I asked Crescentia.
'Well you're up against some of the strongest demons in Hell and Battery City, so we'll need some pretty strong demons. Know anyone?' She asked me.
I shook my head. The only strong person I knew was Azurewrath. Even Anri wasn't as strong as he was.
'What about me?' A male voice asked.
I spun round and saw Hikari holding Sandā.
'How much of that did you hear?' I asked.
'Every word that left your lips,' he replied.
How was he that quiet and holding a baby at the same time?
Then it clicked.
He was the strong demon I was looking for and he was willing to help fight with me.
Perfect.
