Chasing the Chaos

Ch. 19

I watched for several days that Apollo wouldn't leave my room neither would Fred. These two didn't want me to be alone. I was still hooked up from those machines that was keeping track of my heartbeat. When Apollo or Fred were asleep, I would just travel through Olympus. I don't think anyone noticed, my spirit was still moving since it wasn't like I was dead or anything. I think Fred thought since Apollo was the god of healing he could heal me but he tried so hard to get me to wake up but nothing he was doing was doing anything. Apollo said it was my mortal being that needed to be healed and that would take time. I would overhear numerous conversations among the gods and goddesses. They were discussing the punishment for Hades most of the time. I even saw Hades on Olympus which I never thought I would see well ever. He made it a point in saying he hated Olympus. Hades were standing in the throne room, Apollo seemed like he wanted to be somewhere else.

"What did you do to Lyric Green" Zeus asked Hades and Hades rolled his eyes at Zeus.

"I did nothing" Hades exclaimed making a point in telling Zeus while looking irritated at that claim. "He's not dead if he was I would have seen his spirit moving around in the underworld" Hades shrugged his shoulders.

"Apollo can't heal him" Hera pointed out to Hades and Hades put his hands up in the air.

"Like I said I did nothing all he did was fight against one titan that's it" Hades informed the gods and that's when I saw Apollo anger for the first time in a while.

"He did what" Apollo got up from his seat and stood in front of Hades. "What the hell were you thinking."

"I didn't think he was going through the idea of it but he signed a deal with me to let go of Fred. He's quite powerful you know" Hades commented to Apollo and Apollo just stormed out of the room with Artemis following him too.

"Hades" Poseidon shook his head. "You shouldn't have gone with the deal if you had a good heart" Poseidon exclaimed to his brother before shaking his head. Poseidon looked at Zeus and Zeus sighed while messing with his beard.

"Go back to your domain" Zeus told Hades and Hades shrugged his shoulders and just like that he left the Olympus. I walked back to my room, Apollo was rubbing my hand while Artemis was on my other side. The twins weren't saying anything and Artemis was rubbing her neck. I could tell she was nervous and tense. I was getting tired of walking around and nobody seemed to notice me at all. I sighed before I grabbed my hand and I watched my body accept me and I slowly went back into my body.

I could hear Apollo talking excitedly to Fred and I felt someone sitting on my bed and just like that I slowly opened my eyes to see Apollo smiling at me slowly.

"You awake. We were so worried about you" Apollo brushed my hair back off my forehead. I nodded my head at Apollo. "You have a fever but that will take a couple days to go away" Apollo informed me and I nodded my head. I looked at Artemis who smiled at me before hugging me leaving me all alone with Apollo and Fred just in my room like most of the time when I was unconscious.

My throat was hurting and it was on fire. I could use some water to be honest. Fred handed me a mug to drink water from. I nodded my head at him.

"Do you remember what happened" Apollo asked me and I nodded my head. I looked towards Fred to explain what had happened.

"Apollo, Lyric was amazing. He was floating and I swear light was coming out of his eyes" Fred beamed with a proud smile and Apollo looked at me shocked.

"Wow" Apollo just said while pacing back and forth. "I guess I need to train you more huh" Apollo stated to me and I just smiled at him. I was so glad that I could hang out more with Apollo and actually get to know him. I was just so happy to be able to learn how to control these powers so I could attempt to be normal. I was staring at the ceiling while Fred was wiping my forehead down with a cold wash cloth to try to get my fever down.
