I woke up while stretching my limbs from my bed. I stared at myself in the mirror just truly thinking about how my life was going to play out in the future. Persephone was angry at me but I knew I wasn't supposed to angry a god or goddess at all but in that moment, I didn't care at all. It was the weekend and I walked downstairs to see my mom cooking some breakfast, I gave her a kiss on the cheek before grabbing some pancakes and stacking it on my plate. Mom and I ate in silence not saying anything to each other for a while. It was moments that I actually enjoy being honest. I was now able to control my powers and I wasn't out of control. I could tell that Apollo was happy with my powers and who I was turning into.
"Is Autumn and you going out today" Mom asked me while sipping on her coffee and I just nodded my head while sipping on my coffee as well. "I'm happy that Autumn and you are friends. You deserve to be happy actually" Mom smiled at me and I just smiled back at her.
"Yeah Autumn is really great actually" I told her while adjusting my necklace that Apollo gave me. It had to have been months since I last spoken to my father.
"How's Apollo" Mom now asked right as I took a bite out of my pancakes. She smiled at me and I shook my head. Mom was still interested in Apollo and I knew she thought he was still attractive but I couldn't help thinking of my mother with Apollo at all even when I knew that Apollo was my father.
"He's fine since the last time you asked me mom" I said to her while I heard the front door opened and Autumn sat down at the table and grabbed some breakfast while starting to eat her food.
"Hey Autumn nice, to see you" I commented to Autumn and she put a thumbs up while her face was stuffed with pancakes.
"Autumn any guys you are crushing on" Mom asked Autumn and I couldn't help but roll my eyes at my mother's line of questioning but she just couldn't stop butting into people's business.
"Mom leave Autumn alone" I urged mom to stop trying to live her life through Autumn. I honestly think my mother really wanted a daughter but she got stuck with me. She wanted someone to bond with and I wasn't a momma's boy. Mom and I both knew that but it didn't stop my mother from dressing me up in girl clothes or forcing me to go shopping with her. I hated shopping, I hated buying things as well. Mom always had expensive taste.
"Are you done" I turned towards Autumn and Autumn just stuffed her face with more food. I just shook my head.
"Autumn you are never going to get a boy while stuffing your face. You need to act more like a lady" Mom put Autumn's food down and I rolled my eyes at my mother. My mom has no boundaries at all. I tried to tell her for the last 17 years of my life but she refused to listen to me. It's my mother, I love her but I don't always have to agree with everything she does. Autumn quickly went to the bathroom after my mother's comment. I sighed while I finished my cup of coffee and mom just looked at me.
"What" Mom looked at me and I shook my head at her.
"You need to stop making comments and pointing out people's flaws" I told her while I put my mug in the sink and grabbing my bag. I had a beanie on my head and I grabbed my jacket that was closet. As soon as Autumn got out of the bathroom, I grabbed Autumn's hand and we left the house.
"You not going to say bye to your mother" Autumn tilted her head at me and I rolled my eyes.
"No, I will not do that" I told Autumn as we walked down the street together just humming along to songs.
"What do you want to do in the future Lyric" Autumn turned to me and I just laughed a little bit.
"You are sounding like my mother" I commented to Autumn and Autumn now rolled her eyes.
