The next morning, I got out of my bed in my pajamas that I was wearing. I looked at my face, I had gloves covering my hands despite everything. I was still ashamed over what my hands did and such. I hopped into the shower that was connected to the bedroom and I walked out of the bathroom. I put on a pair of sweats before my door was opened and there stood Apollo with a cheesy grin and I rolled my eyes. I did not need someone to be so cheery in the morning. It gets annoying without a doubt. I was not an early bird in fact I wished I was back to sleep.

"Come on, let's get started on your training" Apollo grabbed my arm and urged me outside of my room that I was staying in.

"Whatever you say" I told him while we were back in the training center. Apollo sat down on the side.

"Okay show me what you can do" Apollo smiled at me and urged me to use my powers. I felt the heat coming off my hands. I could see the light coming off my hands. I sighed but slowly removed my hands. The light was showing, and I looked at Apollo who was beaming with the biggest smile and I rolled my face.

"Wow, you are my child" Apollo was bouncing off the wall and I just put my gloves back on. I stuffed my hands into my pocket.

"Can you help me control my hands because I would like to get through school without having to wear gloves just saying" I crossed my arms along my chest.

"Okay first off take a breath. Breathe in and out for me. Let me see your hands" Apollo told me and I put my hands into his. He removed my gloves off my hands.

"You need to be calm and take a breath. Everything will be okay. I promise you will not have to walk around with gloves for the rest of your life" Apollo gave me a soft smile and I just nodded my head. "You see now that you are not worried, the light has disappeared from your hands."

"You sure it's not just you, stopping it" I pointed out to Apollo and Apollo just shook his head.

"I might be the god of light, but I can't control my own son's powers" Apollo patted me on the shoulder before moving back. "Now let's see what else you can do. Don't tell me just show me" Apollo gave me a smile. I just sighed a little bit because I was nervous beyond words.

"You know that I can heal people" I told him and Apollo just nodded his head.

"You need to learn how to heal yourself" Apollo informed me and I just stared at him. "heal your broken nose" Apollo commanded me and I just stared at him shaking my head.

"Is that why, you didn't heal me after you let Ares beat me to the pulp" I crossed my arms and Apollo shrugged his shoulders.

"You need to learn how to heal yourself because if you don't you might die and that would be terrible for you. I had to let you get messed up so then we could teach you the aspects of healing yourself" Apollo informed me and I just glared at him.

"You are so screwed up you know that" I screamed at him about to leave the room. Apollo rubbed the back of his neck.

"I'm sorry Lyric but come on I was just doing what I thought was right" Apollo tried to apologize to me. I just shook my head.

"If you wanted to do something for me then you would have stopped all those beatings that I had gotten from my father. You would have been there for me but you know what I'm doing pretty fine and I was doing perfectly fine without you in my life and I don't need you now" I screamed at him, my hands were burning. Apollo tried to touch me. "Don't touch me" I exclaimed to him.

"Lyric you need to calm down" Apollo tried to tell me but I just pushed me away. "I know I haven't been good to you and I know I can't blame Zeus for everything but I am sorry Lyric. I'm really am. You have to believe me" Apollo told me and I saw Apollo just looking down at his feet and that was the first time I realized he was hurting just as much as I was.
