Chasing the Chaos

Ch. 16

When I opened my eyes, I felt a little pressure on my stomach. I saw it was Flora she was smiling a little bit. I sat up, I was in a living room in a house. Flora gave me a smile.

"Don't worry Lyric we safe" Flora informed me and I just nodded my head.

'Where are we" I asked Flora and that's when I saw a person that was a goat actually. I just couldn't help but stare at this goat thing.

"Hey don't stare. It's rude" Flora hissed at me and I just rolled my eyes at her.

"I'm Fred" He introduced himself with a smile and I couldn't help but stare at his horns confused into what world was I being pulled into.

"Lyric but I'm sure you know that. It seems that everyone knows who I am" I sighed and Fred handed me something in a bowl.

"It's cereal" He told me and I nodded and started eating quite fast. I didn't realize how hungry I was.

"How long have I been out" I asked Fred and Flora. They both looked at each other with a nervous look.

"Two or three days" Fred shrugged his shoulders and I just stared at him.

"What" I exclaimed trying to get up from the couch.

"Your body was exhausted actually after using those powers that Flora was telling me" Fred told me while sitting across from me on the table. "You lucky that I was hunting for food and that Flora was searching for someone" Fred continued to talk.

"Flora, do we have any information about Apollo" I turned towards Flora and Flora sighed.

"Yeah he's getting worse. The poison is taking away his life as we speak and the gods right now is just making him comfortable" Flora said to me while looking down a bit. I nodded my head.

"I guess we should start going then" I told her and I got up from the couch. Fred was biting his lip.

"Lyric don't you think you need more time to heal" Fred told me and I just stared at him.

"I don't have time to rest, Apollo need me and for the first time, I refuse to let anyone down. I need to do this, otherwise Apollo is going to be done for and the more time I waste here in this lovely home, the worst he's getting" I rambled to Fred and Fred put his hand on my shoulder.

"Then I'm coming with you" Fred told me while grabbing a bag and placing it on his back.

"Really" I asked him and Fred just nodded his head.

"You'll need me definitely and even Flora trusts me" Fred said and I looked at Flora. She just nodded her head and she had a smile on her face.

"Okay then let's go" I told them and we were heading out the door. I put Flora in my hand but I thought about it. I gave Flora into Fred's hand and Fred just nodded his head.

"Why didn't you say anything when you were in the bag" I asked Flora and Flora just shrugged her shoulders.

"I thought you would be freaked out" Flora mentioned to me and I just a little bit.

"Nothing can surprise me in the slightest bit actually" I shrugged my shoulders. Fred was walking right next to me and I just sighed.

"So, what are you exactly" I asked him and Fred just smiled. He didn't seem offended about my question in the slightest bit.
