Chasing the Chaos

Ch. 12

"You can stop marveling at this" Apollo nudged me hard and I just stared at him. "Come on the more time we spend outside of Olympus the more inclined of us running into these creatures and not to mention the monsters and creatures cannot get in at all."

I just nodded my head the gates opened just like that. Apollo and I walked into Olympus. I couldn't help but look around the place. I was actually on clouds and I saw numerous of the gods and goddesses talking to each other.

"Welcome" I heard a voice and I turned around to see a woman that was thin and she had a beaming smile. "You must be Lyric Green Apollo's son" the woman said with a smile and Apollo just smiled at me.

"This is Hera" Apollo whispered to me and I just nodded my head.

"Nice to meet you Ms. Hera" I told her and Hera just smiled. She pinched my cheeks before messing up my hair. She walked away but before she walked over to Zeus. She turned around.

"He's cute Apollo like a miniature you" Hera winked and held her husband's hand otherwise known as Zeus. He just glared at Apollo and Apollo rolled his eyes.

"He's angry at me for bringing you. No demigod has ever actually been on Olympus without permission" Apollo led me through Olympus showing me around places including the throne room. The chairs were huge, these thrones were made for giants and not for people my size. I was small for my age, I knew that from an early age.

"Which chair is yours" I asked Apollo and Apollo gave me a smile and helped me up onto a throne. He placed me down on the seat. The chair was to the far left and I just looked around the room. It was filled with classic art pieces from the Greek area. I could just simply tell from the books I read about the Greek mythology that Athena definitely designed this place.

"Wow this place is beautiful actually" I told Apollo and Apollo smiled at me while the doors opened and there stood a crowd of beautiful people in the room. I could tell it was mostly goddesses and gods in the room. Apollo urged me to get off his throne and Apollo stood in front of me.

"Don't start with me Zeus" Apollo claimed to the head of Olympus. Zeus seemed pretty pissed off in my opinion.

"You are not allowed to have some mortal sitting on your throne" Zeus said harshly and I felt myself shrink down a little bit due to Zeus booming voice. I heard the thunder and lightning in the sky.

"He's not some mortal, He's my son and I'll be damned if I don't be there with him. I'm helping him get control on his powers and I swear Zeus it's your fault that this happened in the first place" Apollo was annoyed and angry at the same time. I felt someone wrap their arms around me and she give me a smile a bit. It was Apollo's twin, Artemis. It was an encouraging smile and Zeus rolled his eyes and walked away.

"I guess I should introduce you to everyone huh" Apollo pushed me in front of him. "Lyric this is Aphrodite and her husband, Hephaestus"

"Nice to meet you guys" I told them and yet again, I felt my cheeks being pinched.

"You are the cutest thing ever" Aphrodite exclaimed while jumping up and down and examining my body. "Do you have a girlfriend or anything" Aphrodite was now bending down in front of me. I felt the blood rushed up to my cheeks and I looked down at my feet.

"Leave the boy alone Hun" I heard Hephaestus say but he gave me a small smile.

"Anyway, now this is woman here is Athena the goddess of wisdom" Apollo pushed me in front of the women in talk. I just stared at her. She tilted her head and just continuously stared at me without saying anything.

"I don't like you" Athena finally stated and was about to walk away.

"Um, Olympus is truly beautiful. I know you designed it" I told her and Athena just turned around and stared at me.
